I never used it when you first gave it to me, and now its gone

My fortress is basicly sitting on nothing but Redstone for some reason.

My dome went over the roof of my house in one direction, so now I have a glass roof and half a dome

Working on my highway, and had to take up shelter in someone's house during a storm.

Its a castle-like place near a river, and it needs alot of fortifty. The doors were on backwards, but I fixed that. Biggest issue is that the basement is completely open to the outside, allowing monsters to enter.

Okay, first off. Who the hell keeps taking the buckets out the public lava resevoir? I've made eighteen buckets now, and every one has been taken despite a sign nicely asking everyone to please return the buckets they take. Stop being greedy!


Second, I finished the beautification project of the Valley of Death, and I'm almost done building a raised roadway from sanctuary out there.

Just reminder, here's what it used to look like before we bottomed it out and added a river:




And here's what it looks like after (note where the stone/dirt line runs along the canyon wall...that's how high the ground used to be!):

While I love how it looks, I'm now thinking perhaps I should change the water into lava to make it a REAL valley of death? I know of a lava pool nearby I could use to make it. So what say you? Go to lava or leave the valley of death lovely looking?

Y'know the server is in Germany and I'm in Los Angeles...I can't imagine your connection speed based on sheer geography should be THAT much worse (although I could be totally wrong). Perhaps it is just a slow connection speed you're actually getting to your house?

Quite possibly, although Australia in general is FAR behind on the internet side of things. I wouldnt be surprised if its just Australia in general.

here are the clues:
room number 1 is forged of iron,
room numbers 2 and 3 meet often.

So that's what the valley looks like, might have seen me before Yak when I was exploring for coal. I saw the bridges and decided to take a closer look at them.

I was going to build a big table in that large room in my house for that.
Meh looks like I'll throw in a couch or something to go with the pool on the roof.


@Jaon: You'll get used to it after a while, although the connection for me seems better at night for some reason despite having no on or off peak in the plan.
Stuff like you'll destroy a block and it will show up again. So just stand there and it will vanish again in a bit and add itself to the inventory a little later when it is lagging.
Also when you place blocks they may vanish again, just wait and they'll reappear.

Building houses is fun, place a whole lot down, they vanish then you can pretend you made it appear with your mind. Though it's not always like that I do get a decent amount of time when it runs just fine.
