yeah, nobody was saying that, at least as far as I saw. Mostly, you had people expressing shock that GW could sell 5 *literally monopose* plastic models at the 50$ price point.

Howling banshees have the exact same assembly options that the finecast kit before them did. 4/5 banshees can only be assembled in exactly one way, the exarch can be assembled as a banshee or with a couple optional sets of exarch weapons.

Considering the size of Ghaz they could have just created a new Ork character( Ghaz's personal Mekboy? ) and along with Makari there could have been a special "triumvirate" set for Ork players. There just isn't enough else in this set for Ork players to go out of their way for.

So then get just ghaz. How hard that is? There's multiple ways to get. But yeah letts just remove discount boxes for all instead. That"s fair. Too hard for some to just buy ghaz so rest have to suffer instead

Well GW could do current currency rate(changing daily)+import fee+taxes. Guess at least that would be more open on how price comes up though.

Or they could use something approximating the actual exchange rate of the past 4-5 years. I am pretty sure the import fees from china to the US are not that much different from China to the UK. But if they are, they are probably cheaper.

Yeah, and then they constantly are changing the prices as the market fluctuates.

Biggest issue that continually seems to exist with the USD prices are that they don't "get" that state sales tax is wildly variable and not really a federal set thing.

At $185 I can’t see this set moving as anyone buying it is just for 1 model. And I can’t see you making your money back unless you scalp price the other character.
I’d get it for $120 and maybe start my spacewolf army but not at that price.

Ragnar would easily be a $40 kit by himself, same as Shadowsun and the various Chapter heroes were.
Ghaz would easily be a $60 kit.

That's $100 right there. $30 for Nobz, $63 for Meganobz, $60 for the Infiltrator/Incursor kit.
Puts you at $253 in content for $185--savings of $68(probably would be more if Meganobz weren't in there to be honest).

Frankly, Ork players will be the ones getting shafted in terms of "making their money back"(which, IMO, is a terrible way to look at these kinds of things as it makes it sound like you expect to make back the whole amount rather than what you didn't want) since Ragnar's a $40 piece and Infiltrator/Incursor kit is $60 and people still don't seem to understand that the contents are different to the dirt cheap Shadowspear Infiltrators that are still floating around having been partsed out.

those are full msrp new in box retail prices not eBay prices! No one cares about that. It’s either they need the figures or they sell them on eBay to make their money back.

Infiltrators are 35$ on eBay not 60... I’m paying 168$ with tax at 20% discount for this set and selling the infiltrators for 35 or less after the market is flooded with them then trying to scalp Ragnar for as much as I can so I don’t incur a loss ... this set is horribly priced

I'm seeing $50 shipped for the full squad of 10 kit that builds both Infiltrators & Incursors.

Yes, those are full MSRP new in box retail prices.
Because that's what GW uses to figure out the boxed set prices, not the fickleness of eBay.

That's your problem, not mine. I wouldn't be shocked if the $35 ones are those that came out of Shadowspear(and are now in the Start Collecting Vanguard).

In this instance, it would be called "a place that isn't ebay".

But given how many full sets are already cropping up for $35 on there with "delivery dates" that match up to when they'd have this new battlebox in hand? You would have missed out on the opportunity already. People are pricing the full kit now based upon the Shadowspear kit(which seems to be sitting at $27.50 or so), so prepare for dirt cheap Infiltrators/Incursors.

So, I saw the data card for Gaz. What does everyone think about that brand new ability with his wounds? Seems pretty nice to me, something I wish the Swarmlord had...

I know people that are still trying to shift the Necrons from Forgebane.

I actually like the rule for characters that have more than 12 wounds. Volcano Cannons are made TO kill Warlord titans. It makes perfect sense to me.
