Genestealers are heavily trailed already but it still would surprise me a little if they do specific Necromunda models given the 40k range. Although perhaps they won't and will just stick Acolyte/Neophyte sprues in the box, maybe with upgrades?

As for the setting/campaign, if this is true - gangs venturing into a ruined city presumably in pursuit of items of value - well that's Mordheim innit? Maybe with a splash of STALKER/Roadside Picnic?

i doubt they would have genestealers as one of the two faces for the new expansion of the game and not give them at least something new, so if the genestealers rumors are true, i expect it to be a new kit, or at least, a neophyte sprue and a misc elites kit like every other gang has

Looks like the Skaven might be stirring on Necromunda too

Two of the silhouettes appear identifiable as Van Saar, due to the skull tether and the lasgun. A couple of them seem to have shoulder-mounted lights (?) so maybe the theme of the next expansion is expeditions descending into abandoned zones.

Look like it's gang kits 3.0. The silhouette are Van Saar gang with the distinct gun and techno pony tail.

Not just Van Saar. There are hoods in there, which could be Delaque or Cawdor.

And to be honest? I’m thinking possibly a Venator Gang.

It's not really deeper but more like they're going into Hive Secundus, so the rumour about Genestealer might actually be true.

I was sort of wondering along those lines too - denizens of Secundus presumably aren't exactly "gangs", so might there be a particular emphasis on NPC monsters?

We'll probably get an Ash Wastes-style 'Secundus upgrade sprue' for each faction to give gangers cloaks and torches.

considering there was the GSC vs squats rumor a bit ago (that this doesn't really prove or disprove), a thought that occured to me was, maybe this is supposed to be teasing the genestealers hiding beneath the city? the cult under the underhive? idk if that really holds much water tho, this is still very vague

GSC vs. Squats matches the Kill Team preview, where they're fighting amongst industrial terrain. Someone could easily have confused it for Necromunda.

This one's silhouette is interesting to me. You can kind of tell that they're operating a monocular with their left arm, but no matter how I squint I see a Pet Rat up top, which doesn't seem very Van Saar. Skaven confirmed?

The only genestealer left are in Hive Secundus, which was sealed off but recently been entered in Ruin of Jarlan. Having just a single Genestealer wandering outside of Hive Secundus will bring up massive retcon/change to GSC gang lore. Because a Genestealer is not just a fast monster, a lone genestealer will try to establish a cult and evolved into a Broodlord. (Patriarch)

Did you not get The Book of Ruin? There are already genestealer corrupted cults possible in all of the hives.

That final underground shot doesn't really seem much like Skaven, except for the green lighting. Looks more Space-Hulkish.
Maybe they're going to recycle the Kill-Team Gallowdark terrain for Necromunda.

Yes if you actually read it clearly stated that the cults are from or connected to the patriarch from Hive Secundus, which was sealed off, and thus "Purestrain remain denied to them", these are called splinter cults, a much weaker version of a normal cult, and no genestealer. If a Genestealer break off from Hive Secundus, it will be the new Broodlord, starting a new cult, maybe even restoring the connection from the splinter cult.

Solo Necro-quest…but back in reality I hope there is some monsters and NPCs that are added to the game with some rudimentary AI—Necromunda Quest Monster as per se.

I so want to say it...but not yet.

Cawdor have pet rats. Scavvies (or Scavies in current Necromunda) eat rats. Ratskins wear rats.

I'm kind of dissapointed, since I was expecting Delaque finally receiving its vehicle and update, especially after their absence was highly mentioned in the Aranthian Succession books.

Maybe delaque will get a digging vehicle that is better suited for the Hive than open wastes

Keep in mind this is just a teaser trailer, and not a reveal.

I don't want to make a prediction just yet, but I've got a feeling this might be as special as the Ash Wastes and is for a few months down the line - possibly August at the very latest. In the meantime a Delaque vehicle seems like an ideal filler.
