Having seen the new ork codex, it seems that there will still be a number of unsupported and/or un-updated models in the range. Here is a list of every possible unsupported model:

An updated warboss (probable, likely in metal)
A bike-mounted warboss model (not likely, see below)
A big mek on a bike (very unlikely)
Updated Meganobs (possible, plastic, 3 to a box)
Updated nobs (not likely)
Plastic Grots (previewed, possible)
Dethkopter (probably  just a rerelease of the old one)
Stormboys (discontinued, I heard they're releasing a "stormboy upgrade pack"
Stikkbommas (I think they're releasing a bits pack like they are with stormboys)
Buggies (rumors are that the trukk model can be built as two buggies)
Tracks (I have no idea)
Killa Kanz (supposedly being re-released in small boxes, no update)
Dreadnoughts (I think they're staying the same)
Looted Wagon (we're probably getting nothing here)
FlashGits (a likely second wave release... probably just the metal nobs with a couple extra metal bits)
Battlewagon - (goddamnit I hope so)

Special characters -
Zogwort - I think the weirdboy already covers this guy
Snikkrot - I don't see us getting a model
Zagstrukk - possible second wave blister
Wazzdakka - More likely than a bike-warboss, and entirely possible
Badruck - don't think so

Everything else already has a model. did I miss anything?

Which of these do you guys see as being part of the second wave release?

Went digging through my old posts, and guess what? I've been hating on mat ward since before it was cool

I bet they'll release models for all of the special characters. They BETTER release a battlewagon!

Please no battle wagons! The idea that every battle wagon HAS to be unique is the best part about them! Be an ork, make your own

While I love converting my models, and every one in my army is, not everyone has the time or patience or materials to do heavy conversions.  It is a big part of why the orks are so underplayed, and thus under supported.  So while it can be a downer to just be another ork player in a sea of ork players, having every unit represented by an actual model is a long time coming, and with more support we can avoid waiting another 10 years for a codex just in time for warhammer  40k version 6.

Yeah. Some wheelz, gunz, and other bitz will go a long way toward making my giant mekboy el camino dragster battlewagon a reality.

-An updated warboss (probable, likely in metal)
-A bike-mounted warboss model (not likely, see below)
-A big mek on a bike (very unlikely)

I don't see why the above three couldn't be a single pack in plastic - like the the fantasy cmdr models, or even a command boxed set, like the marines

Battlewagon - Isn't this to be converted from the baneblade?

Let me tell you something, I converted my battlewagon from a chaos land raider.  Its already ginormous.  Sure when you play chaos or space marines, its not a big deal.  But huge arse vehicles + horde armies = cant even manuver the dam thing.  A baneblade would be redicurus!

Sounds sweet man.  I'd like to see a good mix of custom car battle wagons out there for various groups of orcs.  A Big Foot battel wagon for the Good Ol' Boyz, a custom Bently or a Rols for da Blue Bloods, and maybe even some sort of Low Rider Truck for da Barrio Boyz.

All kinds of good ideas if you want to take some time to do them.

They should really put out the Gorkamorka grubbings bag or something like it. It was a bag of wheels, tracks, plates and other bitz for making your ork vehicles unique.

Maybe the truck kit has enough of that stuff to make your own vehicles.

I'm with Gaaarh. A plastic kit with bike and foot version of the commander. Add bits to make a mekboy as well so from the one set you get a warboos and mek (one ridine and one on foot).
That would indeed be most choice...

I hope the Battlewagon does not end up like the elusive Drop Pod. GW will seriously be missing out on a great selling opportunity. The FW version looks awesome, but I draw the line at paying that much for a single model.

I hope the trukk can be built as two buggies, the buggies kinda looked out of style for the last codex, much less this one. They better do a Battlewagon. The old rumors were that the trukk kit would be super-flexible; stack a couple up and you'd get a Battlewagon. With no Battlewagon, well, that would be like releasing the Eldar codex without a Wave Serpent model!

Oh....

Why would you need a looted wagon? Isn't it by definition another kit? Though like Kyoto said, a gubbins bag would be good.

I doubt the very existence of the "second wave". Remember what Eldar got? Harlequins. That's it. That was the "wave".

The supply does not get to make the demands.

There is also the Autarch on Jetbike. I agree that there was really no second wave for the Eldar, but they also were not completely forgotten after the codex release.

I also support the release of gubbins kits for the various armies. Sure, I can get bits off their site and Battlewagon, but I would be down with dropping a few bucks on just random peices I could use to spice up models, use as terrain/basing material, or update characters with trophies etc. Just lots of fun little things, and selling them as sets would probably help move more plastic.
