From the Bell of Lost Souls:

Looks like the Imperial Guard players who have been waiting to field an all Rough Rider army may be happy at last.

"Fortress Walls"

Now THAT'S a force worth taking!

Would have thought they would put ALL of the current FW models in there, even if the datafexes are in the Apocalypse book, if only for completeness.

Feh, and still no true CHAOS Baneblade (I don't really count the Nurgle one since it has a giant pus cannon.)

And what's wrong with using the standard Baneblade found in the Apocalypse book? Why doesn't that count as a true 'Chaos' Baneblade?

Also note, the book is rumored to retail for £20, that figures out to about $45 here in the U.S. Not too bad.

Because then I can't give it Daemonic Possession... (Assuming I can give codex vehicle upgrades to superheavies)

I hear that all these are just datafaxes. Pretty sucky, which is why the book is only £20 (+ very reasonable 15% for shipping). I want fluff in my FW books, I won't buy this if it's just page after page of datafaxes.

But I would.

Alot of the FW stuff is in desperate need of updateing for apocalypse, exactly the branch of the game where they will be most likely to be found

What the heck? No Reaver Datafax?

And here I was putting 2 and 2 together...The reaver model, Forge World's Imperial Armor: Apocalypse...

Sad day, until I saw the rest of the stuff. Then I got happy again.

I'm definitely going to pick this up.

CK

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Will this have rules for all the IA tanks?

if so it might be worth it.

Right behind you...

From the TOC I would suppose there are rules for those listed and no others. But even so, there are enough things in it that I like/have, that I will likely buy it.

The 'Strike Eagle' Drop Pod Assault is enough to make me buy it. The siege dreadnought also piques my interest.

Experimental rules for the Siege Dread were on the FW site when the model first came out. Not sure if they are still up though, and perhaps they changed them as well in the book...

Oh necrons, will you ever get anything that isn't just more of what you were fielding anyway?

He's talking about new units, like an actual Megalith, or some sort of enormous Tomb Spyder - something cool!
