I play Eldar. What are my options if I field a farseer/fortune, Wraithlord and The Avatar of Khaine and join them with the wraithlord?

Farseer is T3 4+ invulnerability save
Avatar is T6 4+ invulnerability save and 3+ armour save
Wraithlord is T8 3+ armour save.

The fortune allow me to reroll saves.

What roll is enough to wound the squad?

Do I get to choose between the 3+ armour and 4+ invulnerability save as it is the majority save?

Or is it not allowed to join those 3 units.

I would love to have a unit with 9 wounds , T8 to wound with a 3+/4+ rerolled save.

Im not sure you can join IC's to MC's but, the net result would be takeing the incomeing shots on T3 with the3+ armor save ( farseer armor is -/+4) and the farseer haveing to take the wounds ( Im not sure you could take the Invun saves since not all the models have one and any over kill would have to carry over to either the wraithlord or avatar I think the avatar)

Also this would be a great target for volume of fire or what ever its call. basicly If someone rapided fired 10 bolters into the unit they could force the wraithlord to take 4 hits on T3 and 3+ armor save.

An Independant character can join a squad and many rules cover that situation but
i'm not sure that 2 independant characters and a monster side by side form a squad.

You don't have this option. The Farseer is an IC, and can join either the Avatar or the Wraithlord, but you can't join more than one unit at a time. The Avatar is not an IC.

However, if you could :
What roll is enough to wound the squad?

Due to the Majority Toughness rules, you would be rolling against T3 for the unit.

The Mixed Armour rules dictate the order in which wounding hits are applied to the unit. They do not change the save used by the models.

Each model wounded would use their own save as normal.

Also, don't forget that an invulnerable save is not an armor save, so the mixed armor rule does not apply. for example, if you have a squad of 6 terminators, 4 /w lightning claws and 2 /w thunder hammer + storm shields, and they two power weapon wounds during an assault, it's up to the owning player whether they take 2 5+ invulnerable saves, 2 4+ invulnerable saves, or a 5+ and a 4+ save. The only caveat is that if a save is taken, that particular type of invulnerable save must be removed as a casualty if the save is failed.

Well, Centurian, mixed armour WOULD apply in this situation (even though, as Insaniak pointed out, the situation is actually impossible).

The majority armour save is 3+, followed by the Farseer's armour save of -. If this hypothetical unit took a single wound, it could not be placed on the Farseer, as his save is not in the majority. (Multiple-models-with-wound-markers situations not withstanding, of course).
