Subject: Spellsinger or Branchwraith?

So I'm working on my 1000 pt Wood Elf list for my half of a team tournament with a High Elf. My question is whether to bring a Branchwraith(Lvl 1, Cluster of Radiants) with 10 points for a magic item/something else or a Spellsinger(Lvl 2, Dispel Scroll, Calaingor's Stave, or Powerstone). The High Elf player is bringing a Lvl 1 Mage with 2 Dispel Scrolls for some Magic defense. Which should I go with?

I'd probably choose branchwraith as he can fight a bit too, seeing that you have good magic defense arrayed against you.

Go the branchwraith and add her to a unit of dryads.
The HE player will provide plenty of magic defence with +1 to dispel and 2 dispel scrolls. Just remember to get him to dispel all spells for the +1.
Drads are quite a tough basic character and add much to a dryad unit.

Neither.
You have a scroll caddy, that is enough. If you want more magic dont take scroll caddies, take a proper wizard each.
The branchwraith is all well and good, but the dryads are a skirmish unit and therefore can easily be destroyed. By adding a branchwraith you are risking her. If you seperate her, you might as well not have her.
Dryads are good though, they should have awesome synergy with a HE infantry army. Take a wardancer or alter noble and back him up with a walking garden.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
