For those of you who made your own clan, chapter or craftworld; what did you name them (inspired by the "baneblade names" post).

I'll start it off,

Orks: Da forty Thieves

Chaos (nurgle): The Leper Kings

Tau: don't have one yet...

my Warboss is Korrag Bugsmasha, supreme lord of Dakka.
supported by his Big Mek Skrewlooze he leads the mighty Ork Klan known as the Red Rokk Raidaz.

I thougth for some time to name my pleague marines the sons of sars, but decided to stick with Death Guard. my demonprince is the mighty Lord Anthrax and his sorcerer is called Jacob Kreutzfeld.

my Eldar Craftworld is called Erl-Kiam, I forgot new name of my Autarch

The Daemon prince Dar'la-Ka'teth and the chaos lord Varon Leipzig leading the 9th terror company of our lord Abaddons black legion.

Space Marines: The Emperor's Other Children

Since 'the Emperors Pointy Sticks' was taken, I started calling my marine chapter
"The Emperors Blunt Object"

My Eldar have no name, but the Farseer did earn the moniker El'mer F'udd after a night of beer fueled gaming. I forget why.......

My Black Templars are THE HERALDS OF VENGANCE
and my mates Eldar are the Valeathra warhost

CSM: Sons of Steel (an offspring of the Iron Warriors surprise)
Tyranids: Teeth and Claws

Space marines - Angels of Aspiration
Necrons - Tomb world Caut'ian

Here is what I usually call my armies

IG: "These guys suck"
Orks: "These guys are stupid"
Skaven: "Why did I pick another horde army?"

Take a look at my sig.

I call my Space Marines chapter "Iron Griffons."
I make use of the Raptors Iconography.
They aren't an offshoot of the Raptors. I just really REALLY liked their imagery. It's exactly what I had pictured in my head for the army (It's Bike and transport heavy).

My CSM I call... "Chaos Space Marines," since I rarely ever play the same thing twice.

Farseer Tilithas, Battle-Seer of said Craftworld.

They just sound Eldar-y. Why is your army blue? They're Eldar! If they want to be blue they're blue.

I sold my other stuff. My Space Marine Commander was named Force Commander Earl Grey, because, well, I drink so much of the stuff. haha :p

My old nid army was called Hivefleet Sunstrike since apparently really gakky yellow painted tyranids was a good idea at the time.

SM - the Emperor's Salvation
IG - 17th Gudrunite Rifles

Space Marines: The Imperial Hammers
Chaos Marines: The White Legion
Imperial Guard: The Xerxan Jaegers

Eldar and Grey Knights are just Althasar and Grey Knights, nothing new

Space Marines: Death Hawks
Chaos Marines: Missionaries of Khorne/Chaos
Imperial Guard: 5th Regiment of Fervidus
Eldar: Sky Raiders of Arach Quin

IG: 73rd/212th Terran Dragoons. They're a mixed Traitor Regiment serving the Word Bearers.
Chaos: Was Iron Warriors and Death Guard, now they're one big mixed army with no fluff yet.
SM: Fallen Angels, Pre-Heresy Dark Angels with lots of conversions.

I use Black Legion but I like to refere to them as Abaddon's Weekend Warriors due to my track record with games

My Ork named "Flower beauty"

My Hive Tyrant has the suitably niddy name 'Fred'

Eldar - Stormrage [Painted my Autarch like Tyranda from Warcraft III]

CSM - Warriors of the Eight (khornates)

My Warboss's name is Gloobottla, an inside joke that spawned from me using a bottle of cement while I waited for all the bitz to arrive in the mail. His clan is known as the Ded Skullz (yeah i know it's close to Deathskullz but I wasnt aware of them when I thought of it. I'm drawing a blank on coming up with a cool new name.).

My Chaplain was name Lucretius Eimabadas Cato and my Librarian was named Lucius McDecius. I never named my commander, cause I never took one.

Just an Ork army for me; Da Grim Gitz (Known in some regions as Grimgull's Grim Gitz instead, named after their Warboss)

I have a Loyalist Vanilla Army.
The Illuminareus- We bring the light of the Emporer.

Chapter Master: Johanness VII

My Space Marine army is called:

Storm Ravens, their chapter symbol will either be the Blood Ravens..raven with a lightning bolt going vertically through it, or the lighting bolts of the SS, symbolizing the first and last S of the chapters name. Rules are vanilla, but the concept comes from the Raven Guard.

Inquisitor Lord Thistle of the Ordo Hereticus and her 'personal bodyguard' of a varied amount of IG squads. (An excuse to not collect any singular IG army for more then about twenty models.

And Canoness Samantha of the Order of the Fiery Heart.


I know that fluff-wise the order was renamed Our Martyred Lady but whos to say a group of them didn't just decide to keep the old name and colour scheme?
