My Necrons are known as the Procyon Elite.

The army includes a surplus of immortals and I tend to capitalize on my elite choices rather than on the flying circus bots. In fact, depending on the point limits for the game, the army can include more immortals than it has warriors!

The fluff behind the army is that they were one of the earliest groups of necrontyr that were converted into the necrons on the planet of Procyon. (Fictional planet that I made up as a tribute to star control 2, not sure if it exists in the normal WH40K fluff)

The army is lead by two necron lords, an immortal-lord and a warrior-lord and tries to focus on a "upper-class" / "lower-class" ranking system. The army doesn't have any Pariahs yet as rules wise they are pretty bad, but I've been toying with the idea that the tomb world's pariahs are a mixture of parts from lower-class warriors and upper-class immortals that contain the nearly exhausted life-energies / souls / whatever of creatures bearing the pariah-gene, and thus are outcast by both the warrior-caste and immortal-caste of the tomb world. Destroyers and Heavy Destroyers are seen as specialized immortals, and everything else is seen as lower-class necrons or mindless servant drones.

The army is dedicated to the deciever, as is to be expected of an army that displays a disturbing amount of human emotions and ideas and is somewhat of an objection to the popular consensus that necrons are thoughtless, mindless killing machines. Instead, the Procyon Elite are a legion of desperate necrontyr entombed in their necrodermi who still retain some sense of who they are. They use whatever mental ability they have left to fight for the Deciever, as it has made a false promise to them that once they've quenched the God's thirst, they shall be released from their eternal prison.

Not the most original idea and it butchers some of the necron fluff, but it does bring some personality to the army and I like it. Just be glad that I don't expect them to talk and all like the necrons in Dark Crusade...

My elder come from home-brewed Craftworld Maen-Lir, and the army is the Host of Mannah’nin. Mannah’nin is my Farseer, a phonetic misspelling of the Irish god of the sea. The fluff was that it’s an isolated craftworld which just recently started interacting with the Imperium. They still worship the old Eldar gods, and the fluff was a mix of 2nd Ed Eldar fluff and ancient Irish cosmology.

My Dark Angels are Task Force Nemesis; an expeditionary force devoted to hunting down the Fallen on the edge of the Eye of terror. All the regular marines are provisional Deathwing inductees, who will be fully inducted if they survive the mission. The character names are mostly classical angels or archangels.

My Slaaneshi CSM are the Sons of Degradation.

My Orks are Da Gitkikkas led by (who else?) Warboss Gitkikka himself. They started out as a single humble warband on GorkaMorka that managed to find it's way offworld. There is still evidence of their time on the planet, as their runt mobs are made up of willing Diggas instead of 'dem sneaky Grots'.

I had to do something with all of those Digga models, you know.

My original Deathskull clan was "Teek's Blue Meanies", I figured the touch of humor (and obscure Beatles reference) was fitting for the comical sense orks had in 2nd/3rd. Now that I'm resurrecting the lads, I'm tempted to resurrect the moniker as well. Definitely helps me nail down a primary color palette!

My old Blue Marines were the Blue Vipers. They are dead to me now.

My Guard army preceded the Inquisition armies by a bit, hence the backstory of "Von Dekkar's Elite" being they were an Inquisitor's private army of elites from regiments across the galaxy he was assembling to destroy his heretic master, a man well know for his ability to raise armies of his own.

My Space Marines, hailing as they do from the Planet Krieg, can only be know as the Kriegmarines.

My first and favorite army is called "Dark Angels 3rd Battle Company". Catchy, eh?

My 2nd and 3rd armies are "The Deathwing", and "The Ravenwing."

Anyway, for the 4th army. I play a Sisters of Battle army. They are the "Sisters of the Penitent Supplicant." From the "Order of the Penitent Supplicant", a minor militant order based in the Segmentum Obscurus.

Warhammer 40k :

- Star Falcons (Space Marines - my oldest army that is still not finished, alot of lasplasma squads in oldskool lasplasma razorbacks, anni predas and wwind)

- Astral Hawks (Space Marines - prettymuch the deathwing part of my marines)

- Demiurg Guerrillas (Demiurgs, or Squats if you prefer that :F using the IG codex with less tanks, more elite droptroop infantry with plasmas - still pretty wip, labour of love)

- Angels of torture (Chaos Space Marines - painted hot pink with alot of slaaneshi symbols and chainsaws)

Warhammer :

- Pahn´zor tribe (Lizardmen, done from the old "1stancewonders" plastic lizardmen + an old slann...there is 2x 40x saurus phalanxes and some 60odd skinks)

- Lilliputian Kingdom (my new project, still a bit hard to say any details, but prolly ending up using the dwarf armybook with warmaster empire miniatures)

Well, I have my 42nd Valhallan Sharpshooters (Ironicly named, let me assure you), with support from the 135 Kreig Mobile Infantry, and attached elements from the Krieg 56th Armored Company. Due to an Administratum error a conscript squad of the Mordant 13th have been placed upon their troop ship, mostly miners and hive gangers.

I had my Iron Hydras, a chapter descended from the Salamanders, and prior to that I had a mercenary army (IG) led by Ahur El'Marakesh.

My old Deathwing army was Task Force Metatron. I didn't play my Raptor army long enough to give it a name (although Predator Destructor in that army was named Mor Dacca). And my new IG army hasn't received a name yet, but it will be a combined Tanith First and Only and Phantine XX force.
