GW likes to do pendulum swings and this was a big one for a lot of us.
So what do people think, in 5th edition will we be able to charge out of vehicles?

Did Rhinos sell well this edition?
The answer is often in the question I'm afraid.
But on the bright side, Assault Cannons will be awful in the next edition.

The balanced thing would be closed top = entangled, open topped vehicles = roll leadership or pinned. It would keep the balance of vehicle spam so that its still harsh for the armies that need the tone down, but not completely screw over armies that rely on fast attack such as orks and dark eldar.

Rubbish, Orock. DE Raider rush is currently way more viable than [insert any army name here] Rhino rush because of cheaper units, SMF and WWP. As for Orks, the new 'dex has given them the only safe transport in the game other than a Falcon. Another buff to their Trukks is the last thing we need. The transports that would be "toned down" by your suggestion are the very transports that need buffing. Might as well "tone down" Possessed.

I doubt we'll see a full blown return to Rhino Rush.
We might see it return for certain individual units as a special rule or some assault ramp vehicle upgrades though.

They're gonna have to do something to make transports a little better though.. or they'll sell even less than they do now.. that is if the whole marching rumor is true. Why waste points on a rhino to move 12" when you can just march 12"?
