You crazy people in Europeland probably call them "loovies" or "Manual Electrical Relays" or something equally wacky. Over here we call them lightswitches, and the plastic (sometimes ceramic) cover that goes over it to hide the hole in the sheetrock that the contractor cut with a fork is called a switchplate.

Actually we just make our servants climb into water filled metal buckets whilst holding the wires, completing the circuit when we want our castles illuminated. I guess we could make them wear titan suits when they did that too.

That body builder one is hilarious. Gives a whole new meaning to "turning it on". Wonder if they make a female one...
As far as the 40k ones go I think they're awesome. I love all things 40k and used to have the 6ft. Black Templar cardboard cutout in my bedroom before I got married.
