The best part about the writer's strike is the fact that I don't have to watch new episodes of Grey's Anatomy with my gf. That show sucks.

You mean she doesn't make you watch OLD episodes?

No, thankfully she doesn't do that. The joy she gets out of the show is the wonder of seeing new drama unfold. For that purpose, the old episodes have already been tapped.

Rock Band is most definitely the win. Except for the fact that you can't get individual Peripherals for another month.

It really blows that I can't play Rock Band and work on my army at the same time though...

For me that's not so bad...I bet I will suck on the seventh song(friend bought is going to buy). Because I'll probably suck on every song.

I played Guitar Hero for the first time recently, and it
was kind of fun and depressing at the same time.

I used to like Guitar Hero till I played Rockband, now I won't touch it. Guitar Hero is harder, but it is also much more arbitrary in throwing notes at you just to make it hard and combines lead, rhythm, and bass parts on top. Rockband is much more playing what is actually played. It makes it easier, to an extent, but the challenge in Rockband is performing as a group. They have also been a lot better about getting new songs out each week to download and on top of that they are cheaper then Guitar Hero's and you get the Drum and Vocal parts to boot.
