Ok, I would like to include a biker boss into my new 'dex army, but: 1. is he worth the points? and 2. should I run him alone or with a sqaud of bikers?
This begs the question of whether bikers are worth it and I have read varying opinions of this, but can't decide. help?

The biker boss is definitely worth it, but you don't need to feel constrained to run him with bikers, which are sub-par. Anything that can keep up with him and give him IC protection will do the job.

The trukk. Or do what I do and just run him close to a big mob of boyz until he is ready to strike.

Time to buy another trukk boyz mob!
A canny opponent will take out an IC's escort squad before the IC (or their transport), so a single trukk mob with the Warboss wouldn't do. If you're sticking with the minsi you've got, Famder's definitely right. Unfortunately, this will mean taking longer to silence the enemy's gunz wif a good whompin'. Another Trukk's a great expansion if you can do it.

I find it easy enough to keep the biker boss out of harms way until he can krump something. His high movement means he can lurk behind cover until the right moment. Where an escort comes in handy is helping him take down tough units in close combat. But mostly I use him to tank hunt and destroy line units like space marine tactical squads, gaurd squads or firewarriors. I've yet to play a game where he didn't more than pay for himself in units destroyed, and they are usually the units that other parts of my army struggle with- demolishers, hammerheads, monoliths.
