I'm still somewhat here but after I started this thread to then my break. I couldn't catch back up after gallon prime. To many new people and moving pieces and worlds. I just can't keep up with it. I fully plan on getting back in if we want to start a campaign on a single planet. That would get me back in.

Also the randomness of some posts throw me off. Like crusade of love. Then the one or two line posts here take up so much space where there really should just be PM between the people. It takes forever trying to figure out what's relevant.

I hope to join you all again if we do another/I may start another if this ever runs its course. The Wolverines valiant didn't get much action lol.

Look at the Crusade 2.0, is that something you would be interested in?

Yeah, sorry about that. The Crusade's gotten a bit..... odd after Gailor Prime. We're starting to plan ahead for Crusade 2.0 if you want to get in on that when the time comes.

BNG, you kill off those Kroot and my Histans will pay you a visit.

Now I really am at a cross of running Kroot or Orks next Crusade... Also, I'm writing up some stuff for Archarus and the Histans, should be out before the end of the week.

The thing is, unless my Kroot are Imperial , which while possible is unlikely, then I'd have two villain factions.

Unless my Kroot are independent and work with almost any faction if the prices are right. That'd be interesting.

And I'll ignore the bird man comment, for your sake.

Yeah, I think that Kroot Mercenaries would be really cool.

You with Kroot, Buttery with Rogue Trader, I like these 3rd party factions you don't see alot of, if any. I think it kinda fleshes out the Crusade.

We'll have the Imperium, Knights, Chaos,Renegades, Mercenaries, Rogue Traders, Necrons, Scions, and maybe Mechanicus and Orks

All we'd be missing is Eldar, DE, Tyranids, and Tau

Speaking of factions... what if I did Dark Mechanicum?

DM could definitely bring some cool stuff.

I've talked with Evergreen, and he might be interested in nids, but he wasn't sure how it'd work if we were limiting army sizes. Then again, that was before we realized how much space we had.

Nids would work fine

I would suggest, as I am doing, look at the map and decide where you want to deploy (Dibs on Frosie)

Maybe you should elaborate the current state of Histans, and MERIT should think of a perfect solution for the Kroot troopers. We sincerely hope that our alliance could be made.

Because those Kroots were quite experienced that they could not simply kill them, here are MERIT's solutions:

1) Send the Kroots secretly, and let them fight the Hybrid-infested planet for the reasoning of 'clear the area of Hybrids and make sure we have a base of operation.'

2) Send them out of the sector and have them fight another campaign against Kaos.

3) Send them to the Tau.

Maybe the acting captain should send back up data copies to ensure it survives.

I was actually thinking of running the RT and what I'd call grey Mechanicus - Admech far enough from the eyes of the Imperium that their morals are somewhat more mercenary. Not total sell-outs, but willing to look the other way if the sources of a good piece of kit was less than IoM sanctioned.
But if someone wants to run full Dark Mechanicum, I can clean up my act and think of another way to run.

BNG, I was only kidding. Do as you like with the Kroot. While my Histans themselves would actually enjoy xenos fighting xenos, I have a liking toward the Kroot in general, but it doesn't actually bother me what you do with them. I was just making a joke, is all.

If so, let the Kroots share the burden of close combat.

Anyway, it seems that our alliance is good enough for Histans then?

Don't get me wrong, the Histans would support the final decision of Crusade Command overall on alliances and whatnot. They wouldn't be entirely opposed to having some xenos take the brunt of an assault on other xenos, but they wouldn't be all too happy to have the aliens be right next to them in the battles. Ironically, if the alliance does happen, then the way to get the two sides to find common ground would be to work alongside each other, and see that the other side is doing its workload as well.

Take a wild guess of Aelius' identity then, I think it can smooth things a lot. That is, if Aelius could persuade his colleagues.

Do expect the MERIT would be honest about their aim, their history, and their past operations. Fight against the C'Tan and Kaos forces is what central aim of MERIT, and they wouldn't mind achieve that goal by killing some aliens as the payment.

Oh no, Aelius had tag along with MERIT since they finished off the Deceiver Shard pretending to be Governor Takis. Check the assassin codex and you should know who's Takis.

Also, I'm thinking that in Crusade 2.0 we do this. Of course this is at the start when we know our factions.

Help from necrons? To be fair I don't think Nasira would mind, it's just a case of not getting caught.
