Does 40k include Apocalypse and Cityfight, or would 40k
be listed separately? (not that I play either, but I know other
people give both variants playtime)

Anima Tactics most frequently? Really? The game system
seemed kind of goofy to me.

Yep. It's a pretty fun and easy system. In the last 1.5 years...5 games of Anima Tactics the last week or two, 3 games of WM spaced out by weeks/months, 1-2 small games of fantasy, and my last 40k game which was a while back. Time flies. It's weird when you realize you haven't picked up a brush in a year.

What I wish I was playing if all my stuff wasn't in a warehouse in Tokyo.

1. Ancients -- either De Bellis Antiquitatis or Field of Glory or maybe DBMM.

2. 6mm Napoleonics with Polemos Marechal de l'Empire rules.

3. SF -- either 40K or Classic Battletech.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism." -Hermann Goering (high ranking Nazi)

40k and WFB are becoming less and less interesting to me, although I still paint my stockpiles (haven't really bought any models for those systems in some time).

Playing some of these other rules systems, particularly Might and Reason, gives me a new appreciation for how little 'tactics and strategy' is needed in 40k and Fantasy

Time is the biggest influence on playing, and I find I have less of it lately.

Malf:

54mm all the way, though occasionally I feel the urge to go 28mm for ease of converting and terrain availability.

And no go on the RPG, we hardly get any RP into our INQ as is. We're mostly there to model kooky things and bash them against each other, as the level of carnage is much more satisfying in INQ vs 40k. But then I do get tired of all the book keeping, which pretty much falls to me to handle the whole table ...

For the last 3 months all I have played is AT-43.

I hope to get a couple games of 40K in sometime, but everyone here plays hordes and warmachine and at-43.

GW games just aren't interesting enough to warrant regular play.

But there sure are alot of people modelling 40K armies at the shop though.
