Do people make armies and put them on the shelf, or sell them, or use them for a different set of rules?

I think everyone is preparing for adepticon, but play in some bizzaro netherworld.

Bout equal, but I'm devoting slightly more time and effort towards Fantasy at the moment.

Im playing the dont buy so much you get overwhelmed and never paint your army game atm.

When thats done itll look like this:

1. 40K
2. WHFB
3. WM if i ever get around to it.

2. Inquisitor
3. Mordheim (using Rackham minis)

I'd love to be abel to afford the Apoc book, but haven't had the cash. If I did, it would most likely be #1.

By frequency:

1. D&D (two regular groups; every Thursday night and every other Sunday).
2. Warmachine (against WM or Hordes); pretty much every Tuesday night.
3. 40k (most of my tournament gaming, and occasional pickup games)
4. Warhammer (my remaining tournament gaming, and leagues when I can get the time).

In order of preference:

1. D&D
2. Warhammer
3. 40k
4. Warmachine

Frequency:
1) 40K (This has spiked massively since the new ork book)
2) D'n'D
3) LOTR
4) Fantasy (Used to be my main game, on the backburner right now)
5)Warmachine (Just getting into it)
6)Various specialist games.

Preference as games systems:
1. Fantasy
2.LOTR
3.40K/Warmachine

I'm not pushed on systems for RPGs, its all about the group and the story.

I only play 40k.

I'd like to give fantasy a go .... but I've already got too many unpainted armies.

The thing that would make fantasy an easier game for me is the fact that I only like one fantasy army ... where I like most (if not all) of the 40k armies

4/ LotR (although haven't had a serious game for months now, so touch and go whether this should still be here. But I plan to have some more games when I can summon the desire)

@malferd The cmg. I played the board game but i like the other more.

Mostly Warhammer Fantasy Battle but some Warhammer 40k as well.

I really want to learn more about Epic and Battlefleet Gothic. I don't anyone that plays, but both look really cool. BFG is especially appealing, as it does not seem to be the kind of game that will require me to drop a couple hundred dollars on models and rulebooks for me to play a decent game.

You can d/l the rules for both games for free. The BFG models are mostly still available from GW. They are pretty expensive. You could look on eBay for them. I don;t know the status of the Epic models however there are several generic 6mm scale SF ranges you could use.

I would play a few games with counters before blowing your wad on the official figures.

I'm looking into the Blue moon stuff, and waiting on Pulp City.

Ive been looking into getting into Mutants and Masterminds, or Heros, but can't decide which of the two I like better, or if I can get the books I want second hand.

I have been Inspired by Dakka Dakka to get back into Gorkamorka. I'm digging out my stuff, and Necromunda, and am getting ready to go on a full force campaing to bring it back into the light.

40k is ok, but with the current turmoil, I'm only painting up the stuff I have, and getting ready to either get back into it , depending on how the new rulebook looks, or selling it off.
