Now, this is not for people to bash the rules or the business choices that GeeW makes. This is for what you have read of GeeW that was funny "funny", not the "This-new-rule-is-so-slowed-it's-funny." Any fluff, BL or WD written material that made you LOL.

For me, it was last night. I bought the Ork codex when it came out and have just been to busy to read it through. I got home and was reading the fluff about Grotsnik and found myself laughing from this one line about his adjustment on different Nobs:

"...well, later that day he [a Nob] might come down with a nasty case of exploding head."

I don't know if it was me being tired or what, but I found that frickin' funny.

What fluff have you found funny?

Borrowing from the Ork codex I think the story of Tuska the Demon-Killa gave me a good laugh.

I also hear that the Imperial Guard Uplifting Primer is filled with good dry british humor.

The Munitorium Manual is chock full of hilarious absurdity. My absolute favorite is the 'example' requisition form for a new Lasgun

A bizarre array of focusing mirrors and lenses turning my phrases into even more accurate clones of

Description of the Kroot. I think it was from a developer's notes article.

(paraphrase)Now here's some guys who are wild, use tribal charms, a primitive gun, and eat the flesh of the fallen. "Their musculature is akin to that of tall basketball players."

Hm, now what sort of people can we be talking about here? I did kind of chuckle the first time I read it though. :(

I personally loved the piece in the Archeon story arc where in the middle of a battle Grimgor Ironhide fights his way to Archeon (who is his ally) and knocks his ass out by head butting him. He then shouts Grimgor is tha bests then just moves on. Just to prove a point.

Its both funny and incredibly badass.

IIRC, Grimgor and da Orcs weren't fighting for anyone but themselves, which is part of why the Chaos Players had such a hard time with the campaign.

Your right obviously but i was under the impression they had a loose alliance at least. A non aggresion type thing only since theres no way you can order them around.

LOL I forgot all about that. I've gotta reread that book.

Another thing for me is Digganobs. Just thinking of 'Umies trying to be like Orks is rather funny. Now I just gotta figure out where I stashed that book.

Best. Ork. Ever.

And the Uplifting Primer is the funniest GW / BL publication I can think of. Totally ridiculous - baby-eating Tau and their bloodthirsty gods, indeed!
