Now they just need a command group.

Nice! Those Kolony Militia figures look really cool - I'd say they give the DKoK a run for their money!

I keep looking at these guys as a double for 40k IG as well as AT-43's Red Blok.
I haven't quite worked it all out yet for either. Give it time and some more releases on Pig Irons part and I think I could see myself spending a little bit of coin.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

Sorry, can't see where. I find the Pig Iron miniatures interesting because of the price tag (if I'm not wrong they're cheap and in some cases add to the Warhammer 40k range) but the DKoK are in a wholly different league (even though I only really like the Grenadiers).
The feet seem to lack detail and the gun looks like something carved out of a chunk of plastic sprue... The only thing I like in Pig Iron miniatures is that sometimes "less is more" - too much detail is not very practical when building an army with lots of troops. Besides... some times I just want something other than "skulls" and "aquilas".

I completely agree. It's not bad, but not in the same league of DKoK and shows it.

Okay, you guys are right - I retract my statement from the perspective of level of detail, but certainly from perspective of price for a decent-looking long-coated mini, these are something you could build a good-looking, reasonably priced army from.
I'd hate to price out the cost for a full DKoK army from FW...I did something like that when the Elysians first came out and it was just ridiculous.

I like the models and the price is good at about $3.00 per mini. I have only found two U.S. online stores selling these. Has anyone seen them anywhere but the war store and rattlehead games? Shipping from the UK is + 35%. That is 20% more than forgeworld.

Why specifically with sentinels? Just curious as to what about them you feel specifically lends them to that.

Hey, I can barely afford GW's these days
Yes, the Pig Iron Longcoats are filling a nice place - that of second best - because although they aren't as hot as the DKoK, they are cheaper longcoats and that's something GW fans, particularly IG ones, have been asking for a long time.

Niiiiiiiice. These will make converting into the really necessary stuff (plasmas and meltas) a lot easier. Sticka coil-y magazine on the bolter-looking-thingy, instant plasma. Chop the flamer down to bullpup format, and you've got a melta. Sweet.
I'm vacilating between getting some of these and just getting the kolony rebel heads to stick on GW bodies for Chem Dogs. I'll probably go the latter because I like the fluff, but maybe if I ever do an Armored Fist unit...
And the best part is the separate heads. So much variability in pose just from that one little touch- and they can become bare-headed rebels easily too.

I would guess he's looking at the wardroids which are total hawtness.
I have their gasmask heads on order to try mixing them with skaven plague monks. Look for pics soon.

Sweet-looking minis. If you guys have never seen what they look like on IG minis, they're pretty sweet. Huge [ see forum posting rules] at EOW did a few:

Those do look pretty fantastic on the Cadian bodies. Very nice.
@Kid_Kyoto - I look forward to hearing how the gasmask heads work for your plague monks - can't wait to see the pics.
