Im looking for some minis for superheros. Im getting into Mutants and Masterminds, and I'd like to get a few minis together and get some gaming in.

I have a batch of the Hero clix guys,but there seems to be Kryptonite in the Simple Green.

Not only Superman, but a few of the other well known tights have a weakness for the greenstuff.

They can do some good impresions of the incredible melting man, but other then that, as long as they dont move around too much they don't hurt.

Other then needing some good sites to get some new minis from, anyone got any good reccommendations to repaint the clix guys?

yikes.

I would start by priming them black, and then trying the foundation colours.

you could try foundation colours first but they probably have all kinds of chemicals on them. Primer sticks to anything.

Yeah, why bother to strip them?

I just painted right over their old paint on all my customs and repaints.

I just repainted my Clix stuff with GW colors and I didn't noticeany problems. a lot of the early HCstuff has to much paint on it anyway.

That just screams "Kill Teamz!" to me. Should completely rock. Next up: Metroid.

Might also try reaper's dollys, they're sculpting blanks and even without mad skillz you can paint a skin tight costume, do a head swap and call it a day.
