GW have announced the boxed set contents, price and date of both the Warhammer Fantasy Battle and Warhammer 40k boxed sets.

The Fantasy Battle version's official release is 24th April (I believe advance order purchasers get it 2 weeks before). Price = £125 GBP. The 40k set is the same with the addition of 1 Soul Grinder, oh and it costs £160 GBP.

I've posted all the details and a piccie on my blog with the link to the official site etc.. here:-

Personally, I like the Bloodletters and the Masque most (there's a sneak peek of the Masque on my blog too - in the right hand sidebar under "GW Online picks").

I don't think I will ever be a Daemon person myself though, I'm mre of a blood drinking vamp than a soul eating Daemon

If 10 Bloodletters is $22.00A, and Neil at the Warstore will set them at a 20% discount, then they'll cost me $17.60A or $17.40C. Not bad.

I love that the fantasy box has the 40K bases on the models.

Annnd here's the fantasy demon box, just 40k sans soulgrinder. Round bases = hilarious.

Maybe they're making all Fantasy Demons skirmishers?

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

So ~$24 for demonettes. Thats not too bad. I may convert them with beast heads for that loving feeling.

Note: can't find the current demonettes on ebay...

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

I think their using the same miniatures for both the 40k picture and fantasy picture, which would explain why they have the round bases.

But wow... I mean were they really THAT lazy? Or are they really thinking they need to have every possible miniature they can sell... well out there to be sold and not painted up?!

Never ever ever watch B movies for fun.
It will ruin your mind.

It's clearly because LOTR isn't grimly dark enough, so they're going to start a new and vaguely supported notion of EVEN BADDER BAD GUYS in LOTR that Tolkien wrote about for a couple lines in some book.
