Found some plans for a scratch built Drop Pod... They're allegedly GW's, but I have no instructions for them... Even if someone could just post a pic of an assembled one, I could probably figure it out. Or if someone has another (reasonably cheap) option, that'd also be appreciated!

Go to Home Depot or your local hardware/plumbing store. Look at sprinkler fixtures, light fixtures, pipe caps, whatever looks about the right size. Bring minis with you for size comparison. Once you've found the hull, go to the plumbing section and find some nozzles that will make convincing rocket exhausts. Stick them underneath. Spray, brush, done. Voila!

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

i have a MUCH easier solution than that....

go to the hardware store, go to the part of the store that has PVC pipe in it and get 3 inch end cap for the PVC pipes. add bitz, prime, paint and vola! a drop pod for like $5.

hope that helps

well I dunno which plans you are following. the most common are what get refered to as the "French" ones (as they were briefly available on the official GW France website). If the pod looks like a dread-pod with 3 wings then its probably that (pro made version)...

there are better more accurate marine pod plans available which I used to make this...
