I can say that I have played a good number of the high post count people on DD and almost all of those games have been enjoyable.

Umm.. editing my post is bs.. I did not make a personal attack.. i made a positive statement that it was mentioned on someone's blog that I despised someone else... I attempted to clear the air and say that I do not despise anyone..

Ridiculous.. Sort of getting disappointed with the modquisition here trying to move heaven and earth to protect a single poster.

I've always admired our ability here on dakka to take a thread that should be positive and affirming about individuals in our community and turn it into a charnal house of embittered misery and suffering.

I'm not a sycophant, at all. And Albatross is 100% correct in his assessment. Could it also be said that discussing BBF and his plans for tournament going might also be OT in regard to who on Dakka one would theoretically like to wargame with?

When a mod decides he needs to address a forum member then that should not be the green light for the peanut gallery to pile on the guy AFTER the mod has done so.

All the "yeah what the mod said" type comments and other shots taken at at someone (often blatantly sycophantic) because you smell blood in the water or because you are trying to get a retaliatory response (happens regularly on Dakka) knowing the mods are already scrutinizing someone is rather lame and imho is one of the worst kinds of opportunistic trolling...

Just let it go.
