I'd play anyone, even Dogma and Shuma. Just so long as they didn't try to spew their political nonsense in my direction I'd be gentleman to them. Might even buy them a round afterwards.

I would love to play any of the older, wiser, and more sensible Dakkites, but currently I have 3 I really want to play

1. Melissia - Currently me and her have been bantering back and forth in 40k General and 40k background, and would love to play against the person behind the avatar. Seems like a cool minded and intelligent person. Also, FEMALE! Don't see many of those around my FLGS X.D!

2. Emperor's Faithful - Same reason above, minus the female. Apparently I want to play some SoB players?

3. Gwar!- I love attempted trollings of Gwar in YMDC, and we have bantered back and forth before. I would love to play Gwar! IRL for almost all of the reasons already stated before as well.

Sad thing is, I only really play Dual-wing and would get om nom'ed

Pretty much anyone that will listen to others PoV and has a sense of humor. If they take their playtime way to seriously, I don't have enough time in my life to waste gaming across from one who has become to emotionally involved with their army.

Having said that, Here are the first three I can think of:

After these guys it would be Deadshane, Dash(Just to get a few pointers)& any of the Dakka Mods

Crikey, so many I could think of, I loved finding this thread, had a break and came back- some of the names mentioned reminded me of really cool past convo's, pm or otherwise, and flamewars of ages past.....So i'll post a few, and break the OP's rules flagrantly!!! insaniak,Frazzled,Malfred,Iorek,Yak,Lego,Empie's Faithful,JohnHwangDD,Nurglitch(That would be basically me standing there for 4 hours trying to understand what 'parenthesis' means),Deadshane,GreenBlowFly,The local Dr to me(you know who you are!!)
And too many more for my drink addled brain from remembering.....

3.All of the people who basically are fun to play with. While I get drunk....etc. Playing with toy soldiers should be taken as seriously as you like.

That being said, I may be tfg, and not even know it!

1. Gwar, because I would probably learn some rules things.
2. Anyone in the DCM or Mod crew as well. We have to much of a good time not to.
3. One of Frazzled's Weiner dogs, just because I've never lost to anyone outside my species yet.

I still remember the days Thor665 and me used to debate Dark Eldar tactics, so I'd be interested in a DE vs DE contest against him someday, over several drinks.

I'm interested in playing Dash to see how he stands up in an actual game as opposed to online list discussion. I tried downloading vassal for this very purpose, but alas, I lost my main net connection the following day, and don't appear to be regaining it anytime soon.

Lastly, I'd like to have an awesome three way objectives game against my fellow Swapmods.

I would game with anyone on Dakka, just to see what they are made of. However, the two closest Dakkaites to me are Boss 'eadbreaka and Dan9016.

I play against Marc atleast 4-5 times a year.

Darkness is the greatest 40k player to never play in a GT. He has beaten Marc enough times to count with multiple hands. His brother plays 40k too and they are about 50/50 vs each other.

I hope Scott Simpson gets off his tushy and plays again I would love to get a game with him again.

I'd want to play focusedfire, Dash, or Killkrazy so I could learn how to stop losing with my Tau.

Politics isn't normally par for the course during 40k. Normally the talk is of women and 40k, but mostly women.

I've already played against Our Most Benevolent Overlord and alongside Reecius, Ozymandias, and WhiteDragon...

The question is, who else?

Probably Gwar! for his knowledge of rules, Polonius because I want a crack at his guard after watching them in action at Adepticon against WD, and Malfred.

I may be able to get 2 of the 3 done at next year's Adepticon.

I'm surprised that even one person mentioned me to tell the truth. I'm actaully kinda a dick in real life.
@Shadowbrand: Long as you know when to tap out to avoid passing out, I think it would be very fun to see who would win in that situation.

1. Shadowbrand: We both like metal, anime, and just enjoyng life by living in the moment tbh. I think it would be funny to see what would happen.
(Prolly involving lots of drinking, swearing, laughing, and precious little gaming.) Also, I migh convince him to teach me guitar.

2. Luna Hound: I think it would be pretty fun to meet her, as she seems like a fun person to hang out with, with a sense of humor I like.
Also, we enjoy anime and the same kinds of music.

3. Little Lord Fauntleroy: Weboth seem very alike, in that we both hold grudges, and are less then social.

Other choices include : Metallifan, Cheese Elemental, Ghosty, Garret, Fitzz, and Lord Loss.

I've played 40k for quite some time now while not a rules nazi I do keep a book on hand.

Fantasy however still confuses me.

I would play anyone on Dakka, I love meeting new people and I have been fortunate enough to meet a LOT of the Dakka crew from the various tournaments I go to.

I can honestly say that every Dakka guy (or gal) that I have played in real life has been very cool and fun to game with.

But as for the people I want to play most? Hmmm,

Stelek: To shut his mouth, but that will never happen since he never actually plays the game.

HBMC: Since he is old school and from our talks seems like my kind of guy.

Whitedragon: He was the first man to ever beat my Footdar and I am hungry for a rematch!

But honestly, I love meeting new people and making new friends so if anyone finds them self at a tournament and meets me in real life (I always have my screen name on my name tag) make sure to say hi and introduce yourself! We'll get a beer after gaming and talk shop.

One of the best 40k moments I've had was a pick up game against Whitedragon, so I highly encourage anybody that gets a chance to game against your dakka friends.

To pick my three:

Dash - He seems like a very competitive guy, and I'm curious if my mech IG could hang with his orks.

JEB Stuart: his demeanor always reminded me of a fraternity brother of mine, and he seems like a really fun guy to hang with.

HBMC: because 12k a side IG apocolypse games are fun!

my 3 would be:

bloodangel as I have known Paul for 6 years, and never got the chance to play him.
Deadshane as I have never played him either even though we have both been in the WC since the start, and love trash talking him.
Augustus as its been far too long since our last game, and we always end up missing each other by a table number or 2.

Yep. I didn't see it(Ozzy and I were getting trounced in the Fantasy TT), but from what I heard, it sounded like a good game.
