Just the normal level of “marines are awesome” as the rest. As the poster boys, there is more of it out there, but I don’t think it’s “we’re the best above all other marines” levels anymore

521 - To promote larger armies and a more epic scale, Space Marines will now be on 25mm bases.
522 - Imperial Guard will transition to 20mm bases.
523 - Orks on new 23.5mm bases.
524 - In order to better reflect their battlefield role all 28mm scale fliers are discontinued and replaced with their 6mm scale Legions Imperialis models.
525 - Flier prices do not change.

As the worlds largest miniature wargame producer GW makes an unprecedented move and manages to buy the rights to Chess.

Legally speaking this is only legal in the UK, but with GW's marketing it only takes 3 years before everyone just goes with the flow and accepts it.

GW releases Chess 2.0 edition; along with 4 expansion books. Introducing new units, new rules and new board designs including 3D and 5D Chess (4D is community supported only due to the copyright being held by Startrek)

4 new colours are released, red, green, blue, orange and yellow

Chess then joins other GW titles on the 3 year edition cycle.

Due to poor sales of Aeronautica Imperialis, the game will now be a part of Warhammer 40k...

If you and your opponent's fliers leave the 40k board, they will dogfight using the Aeronautica rules.

Due to the board reading too many comments from 4chan and Reddit, Lady Gamers will only be allowed to play Custodes, Tau, Nurgle, or Tyranids.

They will also be limited to using pastels or fuchsia when painting their models.

Nope. I played a ton of 5th WHFB, a little 6th, and only a game or two of the first editions of AoS, with a decent amount of the new one. My time in fantasy was not as coherent as 40k.

I do recall stories of broken codexes, so will admit I’m wrong on this one. It might have been the 5th SM codex had more oversight though, as the rules were not so bad. Or the following codex creep just made it seem reasonable...

Finish your turn in 5 minutes: + 15 VP!

If you take too long you lose VPs. 10 for every 5 minutes after the 30 minute mark.

If you attempt to stall your opponent during a Tournament. The TOs will remove your largest unit from the game.

Is there a joke here? I don't really get it. I feel like you're trying to riff on the whole 'Female Custodes' thing, but like, there's really not anything there? A female knight would just be...like...a knight with a female pilot? They're not magic, they're mechsuits. There are female pilots of lots of vehicles and they don't like...make the vehicle transform into an outdated stereotype? The Sisters of Battle Rhino is still just a Rhino.

This honestly just feels like you tried really hard to cram a joke into some really mediocre misogyny and ended up doing a pretty subpar job at both. I read this and I have to wonder if you know what a 'Female' even is? Or a Knight for that matter?

Have you seen a female and/or Knight before?

If you go into negative VP, the TOs still not only remove your largest unit from the game, but those models are now for keeps, meaning whoever wins gets to keep the models. Said models are added onto the list for the next game with no regard for point limits, meaning distracting your opponent gives you a material advantage in future matches.
