Well, unfortunately they don’t always come to fruition.

Due to an unexpected (and drastic) cost increase, we have had to seek an alternate date for the Baltimore Grand Tournament for this year. On the up side, our new solution will open up quite a few additional spaces for the event.

The new details are:
The Baltimore Grand Tournament
November 14-16, 2008
Baltimore Convention Center, Hall D
Baltimore, Maryland

Tickets still go on sale on May 5th and our new ticket numbers for the event will be:

40K - 180 available
Warhammer - 130 available
The Lord of The Rings - 40 available

We’re sorry for this switch up, and we hope we’ve been able to give you enough notice that your plans aren’t affected too much.

There's a certain level of schadenfrude in GW being inconvenienced by cost increases.

(However, then I remember that all the people who may have made plans, travel arrangements, etc. are even more inconvenienced and feel bad.)

Where was it going to be? The last time I went it was in the convention center.

Luckily, tickets don't go on sale until May 5th (remember this is for the Grand Tournament, not Games Day.)
