Yeah I was thinking it looked kinda like the FW stuff, but I believe those really arnt troop carriers? Newt is cool, or I even likda liked the hippogrif. All cool ideas. I might revisit it and try a different track pattern. Seeing as ow the orginal pattern was supposd to be a skirt, I think I could come up with a cooler side profile for the track housing.

I'd just call it a salamander (insert planetary body) variant and call it a day.
Nice paint job though.

rules-wise, I think it would work well as an open-topped fast transport vehicle for your IG. Throw in some suicide or insane guys that feel like assualting straight out of the tank.
call it a 'puma'. ha.

Personally, I think you should re-do the heavy flamer. As it is, you just have it stuck to a flat surface. It hardly looks useable. There is no traverse, up or down, nor is there any way for a firing mechanism to operate it from the inside.
If you were to make a simple rectangular slit in the hull where it is meant to be mounted, maybe 1.5 - 2 times the width of the weapon base (what you have connecting to the hull now) and attach the weapon to a cylindrical mount housed behind the slot, inside the hull, you would have a perfect-looking, operational weapon mount. it doesn't actually have to move, it just ought to look like it can.
A nice reference photo would be the WWII M-3 Lee/Grant tank. Here is a Hasegawa 1/72 scale model of one. Well, the box art, anyway...
Another (and probably easier) idea may be to do a simple green-stuff "boar's head" mantlet such as the ones on the 38t Hetzer tank destroyer:
I dunno. It's your model. If you like it as is, excellent. It is a nice conversion all the same. Good-looking model. I would just like to see this already great kit taken just that one step further...

never heard of it. But it definately looks like a Salamander variant.
And a cool one, too.
You should make a whole army of them .

Excellent suggestion Ghidorah, I think I will do that..it was kinda an fterthought fro the flamer.. something that looked more "intergrated" would certainly look better.

it's open topped anyway, you could hull mount the HB and put the flamer on a turret.

It really reminds me of the WWI tank like the one the Germans used in Indian Jones: The Last Crusade. A bit stockier of course but same overall shape

I also took the advise and altered the hippogrif a bit...making the flamer on the front have a more sensible mount. Some lights and a few other details helped it a bit.

That looks great! I love the way that that the Autocannon has its own little recess to move. Are you going to have someone in the turret commanding it or leaving it as it is?
