Probably end of year. They are a loose group of four species that evolved from the original species.

I see a couple stubby tentacles. Are they organic or wholly mechanical?

Don't recall seeing these Cog concepts posted on Dakka: http://picasaweb.google.com/herr.berends/Rackham/photo?authkey=UfCfFlFx21c#5178640353847386242

Guess I should have read my Cry Havok

"The next AT-43 faction will be the Cogs.

The civilization designated by this name has not developed as a coherent whole. It is not held together by an sense of belonging. The Cogs do not feel they belong to the same species, race or any other word used by more primative life forms. The Cogs are a relatively loose alliance of four genetic bloodlines. The best and more advanced lineages their original species ever gave birth to. Each bloodline is considered a civilization of its own. They are the closest to what non-cogs generally qualify as a species."

Nice. I like the advanced AT-43 alien aesthetic as expressed in Therians and Cogs. If the Gorillas were more alien, they'd be better yet again.

I am really lovin the way AT 43 is shaping up! I hope these guys translate well into miniature form like the other factions I am beginning to become sold on AT 43!

When might we see some 3 ups? Or some further conceptual work?

Thanks,
Chappy P!

Concepts are nice, but... this is another race that looks humanoid. Same basic shape as a human (outline wise), and the mechs look similar.

The monkeys were a nice break from that.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

Since race five is scheduled for end of the year, I would say that with august we should see more an more of the final designs.

thanks for the info
will have to finally break down and buy some
(for obvious reasons)
i just wish they would get the resin versions out quicker as i feel a little bad about paying for and repainting a mini that i could just get unpainted.

"Be not that far from me, for trouble is near; haste Thee to help me. Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me"

Quite promising - lets see how the detail converts to 30mm miniatures.
