Something similar to these:
IWM Machine Gun Turret Drone
IWM Flame Thrower Turret Drone
They're about the only thing I've found so far that would be about the right side for BattleTech (assuming the slottabase in the pic is your typical everyday base that we're all used to for regular 28mm). It'll fit inside a Hex, and probably on a hexbase too, so that's a good start. I've seen others like these ones, but I'm certain they'll be huge.
So does anyone know of any turret models (machine guns, lasers, missile banks, whatever) that are similar to the Iron Wind ones?
Thanks!!

I don't know about turrets, but that Barrule site is pretty cool! Thanks!

Those turrets aren't that huge, there's a picture with them next to a figure for scale that makes them look pretty good. They're also well cheap. I can't think of any others though, sorry.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink. |

Dream Pod 9 has a two-pack of turrets for Heavy gear... One has two dense missile racks, the other a couple of Autocannons. Scale is a bit large for BT, but it might work.

The Plasma Cannon on the Barule site looks fantastic, I think 2 or 4 of them would be a great defensive line and maybe 2 of the anti-air one's for good measure.
And as Balance said they are pretty much the same size of heavy weapon in 40k, so not very big.
An comparitively cheap to the other options!!

Well the good news is that Reaper does a whole line of bits for their game CAV, which is basically just a different way of playing BattleTech with slightly larger models.
But they offer all the guns and other things separately, including some turrets in there.

Not to threadjack, but would everyone please take a look at the outpost that Barrule did for the Mongoos folks? Wargamer's wet dream, there...

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
