They only share S and T, I´d be very worried if SM paid only 15 points for I 7.
As for the 3+ armor, that´s only on the SScorpions, the DReapers and the Zombie Guard, hardly SM wanabees they are better looking for starters.

Keep in mind, in 2nd Edition, Dragons also had 3+ saves, so they were even more useful.

Quite frankly, Eldar in less than 3+ saves are very unattractive.

Eldar get all kinds of 3+, what of it. Only one that changed from the third ed book was Dark Reapers. That and the Avatar.

What they say is that anything with a 5+ or 4+ can fleet, anything with a 3+ cannot.

Anyone ever notice necrons have marines stats? I mean except for the stats that are different of course.

Guardian jetbikes don't need to fleet.

Don't forget that warp spiders have a 3+ sv too.

Here are all the eldar units I am aware of that have 3+ armor saves:

1. & 2. Farseers and autarchs on jetbikes
3. Striking Scorpions
4. Guardian jetbikes
5. Dark Reapers
6. Warp Spiders
7. Eldrad
8. Yriel
9. Avatar
10. Shining Spears
11. Wraithguard
12. Phoenix Lords

That is a lot. Probably Phil should have given all eldar 2+ save with 2x fleet. They are a dying race after all.

Autarchs (in general) and Wraithlords.

Pheonix Lords are actually 2+. All Exarchs have a 3+.

More specifically there are only so many that can fleet.

Farseers and Warlocks.
Dire Avengers.
Banshees.
Fire Dragons.
Harlequins.
Guardians.
Rangers (unless it says otherwise)

Autarchs and Pheonix lords can also fleet. Eldrad cannot. DA, Banshee and FD Exarchs can fleet even though they have a 3+.

I love the variety in the Eldar list. Shame my painting doesn't do the Aspect warriors justice. Some day ....

They are Eldar! They are good. A Scorpion is 16 points, +1 over a Space Marine.
