couple of things:
1. I lost my minecraft password so cant sign in on my main computer, just my laptop which is much slower for games, so wont be on much in the near future until I can reset my password, which is currently broken on minecraft's site.
2. As a result, I cant add new people as easily. If you want to be added to the server now, you must post in the minecraft sticky in this forum, or I wont see it or will forget about it.
3. Do you want me to set the server restart time to every hour and a half? This will reduce the wait if it crashes, but will be more annoying getting kicked off every hour and a half for 1 minute. Vote now!

i'd say 1 1/2 hours.

For every 1 and a half hours of play time there's a single minute of waiting? Seems like a fair enough deal from where i'm sat.

Oops cant do every hour and a half without making my crontab file a bit more complex than I care for, so I'm making it every 2 hours instead.

Right as I made it to get the stuff, I got stuck and died again, thus 2 stacks of netherrack were lost

Dudes, the server being down isn't exactly breaking news. Minecraft's SMP code is horrible, it crashes all the time. Don't have to ask in this thread every time it does...

well im loving the 2 new rails, i have a simple 2 way rail that is taking me from my main structure to my massive underground cave system.

i accidentally found a new system with a cool underground lake.

my station is pretty simple. its a button infront of a stop block, then there are 4 power rail sections and a pressure rail. this lets me push the button to launch and when i come into the station there is enough time for the cart to hit the stop block and drift back a tiny bit before the power goes off and the cart stops.

to keep my carts moving (trains work very well btw) i utilized the max speed/block ratio of 25:1 so every 26th block is a power rail with a pressure rail on either side. this lets me power the power rail for a split second to get the boost and there is no mile of redstone or redstone torch needed.

i really need to work on my massive strip mining of my cave system as gold seems to be the one resource i really need. once again i got lost for over half an hour in my cave system while looking for gold.

as a side note.. turn your sound and bass down when there is a thunderstorm.. i almost went deaf.

Wonder if my cobblestone fort's (13x#x13 thus far) foundation will staya fter the lag out.

Someone who obviously has difficulty calculating what amounts of fuel is needed to smelt stuff decided to take it upon themselves to smelt my gold reserves and iron reserves in my own furnaces using my own charcoal and then left it all there and I want to know who it was and why they did it.

So, I just logged in, when suddenly Melissia says 'bad timing hades' and The server crashed. I wouldn't have posted, except the mini message that is next to the logo was 'haha, LOL'

It made me feel bad

Well, I was digging a tunnel to Gooda's, but then suddenly I ran into Yakface's lava pools. Thankfully not directly into them at any rate, but still.

Some of you may remember me getting the ''Bad video card drivers'' error a few weeks ago. Well I fix'd it!

Just checked out the achievements, looks simple enough and fun at the same time. Any word on whether these achievement lists are for the account as a whole or per world?

As someone who has completed them all, they are account wide however you can't earn them on SMP without getting the first one on SSP according to the wiki.

They are pretty easy really.

I can only play on my dad's laptop, and at the moment I haven't the money to buy the full game, so I've got to content myself with making a mega fortress of death on classic.

Classic/Creative is also fun, although I prefer SSP and SMP.

meh, I'm making a 50 block high tower of power and trying to work out how to make it monster proof in survival

I'm thinking that I'll work towards making it out of obsidian when I get the full game.
