The Stealth USR is as follows in v5:

"All of the unit's cover saves are improved by +1."

Technically no... but the 5th ed FAQ isn't out yet so we are 99% sure stealth field generators will have stealth. (since technically nothig has it yet?)

Uhhh, why would it? "Stealth" is an existing USR already in play in 4th edition and Stealth Field Generators don't provide that USR currently I see no reason why they would suddenly start to.

I don't know why you're 99% sure when there is almost no chance Stealth Field Generators would be magically given this USR. Several units in the game already have 'Stealth', including Eldar Rangers.

A couple things...

1. Make a game-term more universal

2. Make the Stealth Suits worthwhile instead of just ok

Again, "Stealth" is a universal special rule that has already been in the game up to this point. A "Stealth Field Generator" simply shares one word with the name of the USR. It is and always has had its own special rules.

Stealth suits just get better in v5 as they can now move and fire their markerlight (plus any marker drones they take) and the increase in troops units/horde armies in the game means their weaponry is more likely to be useful. Plus, their SFG allows them to continue to pull of the JSJ technique while regular Crisis suits will struggle in v5 to find cover to hide behind.

Does this cover save apply to shooting through intervening
models?

So does an Eldar Pathfinder get a 2+ cover save?

Because jet pack infantry gain the 'Relentless' USR, allowing them to always count as stationary for shooting.

Someone with an eldar codex in front of them may want to confirm this, but as I remember, the pathfinders get a +2 bonus to their cover saves, period. There is no distinction about how or why they might get cover saves, just that any they do end up getting they get a bonus to. So this would, in fact, mean that they get a +2 for intervening models.

I thought Relentless was applied to specific weapon types. I can see it being applied for rapid fire weapons to keep the Plasma Rifle goodness going but Markerlights are Heavy.

Relentless means that you can move, but still count as stationary for the purposes of firing weapons. This means that you can fire Rapid-Fire weapons once at their maximum range, as well as fire Heavy weapons.
