In Canada all GW stores are giving anyone who presents their rogue trader 40k rule book $5 off of 5th edition valid only on the release date July 12(?). Considering how much more we pay then our neighbors to the south this make getting it at my local store a little more reasonable. Now if I can just find my old rogue trader rule book.

Really?
The "Show them your 4th Ed Book for $10 Off" rumor was just debunked.
Now GW Canada is going to get in the Way Back machine all the way to Rogue Trader and let you show that for $5 off?
Though given that Rogue Trader was the edition for options (perhaps a few too many?) and that 5th is, shall we say, not the edition for options, there is a certain amount of irony there, if true...

So there´s an actual Canadian White Dwarf?? Wow, that´s cool!
There isn´t one in my native language, but given that we´re a 60000 people language, we´re probably not a key demographic for GW....

So instead of all the extranaous "ou's" in the British WD, there's a bunch of "eh?'s" in the CA version?

Pity I live in Oz.
Would encourage me to get my RT book out of its box in the shed.
Will check my local store to see if anything similar in Oz.
Of course that would make it
$77.06 US even with the discount.
Which rather sadly is still more expensive than mail ordering it from the US and paying the postage to send it air mail to the other side of the world....

I put an order through the American online store for the collectors and gamers edition and it's still cheaper then if I ordered just one through the Australian mail order.
I only buy the small blister or two from my local anymore, Otherwise I just keep on helping screw Australia's economy with overseas shopping.

I get $5.00 off because I've been playing this game for almost 20 years? Wow...underwhelming. If the price gap between Canada and the U.S. weren’t the size of the Grand Canyon I might consider this something nice the company is doing for its long term customers. But I can buy the book on release day from a Canadian store for $65.00 (with my RT book discount) or on-line from the U.S. for about $40.00.
Now if it was $5.00 for each edition I could get at least $20.00 off (that might get me to buy in Canada); $25.00 if you count the RT era "Battle Manual & Vehicle Manual" that pretty much re-did the rules. I still have my vehicle targeting templates or what we would call “the dumbest idea in games design ever”!
Now I'm not saying GW owes me for my loyalty…but, GW owes me for my loyalty.
