Got an email from Fantasy Flight Games that Dark Hersey is re-released this month, which is great news as it was going for silly money on ebay. I believe it will also include the latest erata as well.

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

About bleeding time if you ask me, it puzzled me as to why GW outsourced this to Fantasy Flight, a company notorious for missing their release dates by "quite a lot".

Considering the alternative was a dead game with no new releases, and no second print runs, I'll take delays over that any day.
The only problem is Fantasy Flight that I've found is their shipping options. I should I said shipping option - singular - as they only have one. UPS, and the cost for me was more than the two recent books added together.
Managed to find them elsewhere at an eBay store for about US$50 all up (rather than US$70 from Fantasy Flight), and shipping was $50. Keep in mind I ordered many other things from this store as well, so $50 is nothing, especially when compared to the US$75 I would have paid had I bought them directly from Fantasy Flight.
Moral of the story:
UPS = NO!
USPS = YES!

Agreed on the UPS comment HBMC. I get hammered by brokerage fees whenever anything comes across the border shipped by them. Item cost $30, shipping cost $10, brokerage fees $17 ... yeah, that makes a lot of sense ... USPS has been great.

I know a number of Barnes and Nobles around Atlanta still have the original edition. I had heard Green Ronin was interested but I guess Fantasy Flight had more connections or something.

Why did they shut down Black Industries in the first place? Their stuff sold well enough and the 40k RPG was sold out within hours, I should know as I am still waiting for that bloody book to become available again..

Fantasy flight has achieved serious market penetration in North America. I've never failed to see a wide assortment of Fantasy Flight games on the shelves at any number of game and comic shop I've visited. Shipping shouldn't be a problem here.

The game rules when it's played by a bunch of 40k fluff nuts or even people that know a little bit of Imperial background. But when you play with people that are talking about their feral world's guardsman as "my inquisitor" and saying "why don't we have any magic?", it can get annoying.
That being said I have a good time with it.

I’m GMing a game right now. We’ve only got through about a dozen sessions, but we’ve seen most everything the system has to offer. It’s a solid, traditional rpg, with a focus on investigation and killing things.
Combat is pretty traditional, with a few core concepts and then a range of options to increase tactical choice. If you’re not completely satisfied with how it works there’s plenty of space in there for houserules without unbalancing things entirely.
There are some issues with organisation (a lot of fairly important tactical concepts are hidden in among the skills and traits), but that only extends the learning curve a little, it doesn’t hurt the game long term.
There are some excellent ideas in the fluff section, lots of potential hooks to inspire game ideas.
I've only used two printed adventures, the one in the back of the book and the that comes with the GM board, and they were both rubbish. Just don’t bother with them, it takes about as long to make them good as it does to write your own stuff.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”
