Hey everyone I just finished my first tank and was wondering if anyone had any tricks or tips in painting this I have heard that it would have been better to paint it first but its already together and well I dont want to take it appart so if anyone had any help or tips I would appreciate it a lot.

If it's assembled, then just prime and go for it. I used to put them together first then prime but find it easier to just prime the pieces still on the sprue and then assemble. A matter of preference, just have to find out what works for you.

Geet a big brush for the large areas. Small brushes make you go insaaaaane when painting tanks.

How to paint a tank depends on your intentions.If you want the interior painted or even the space behind the track-casing,its better
to do before assembling.When its only for the game,glue the hatches closed and paint it then.

You mentioned to have it already assembled,so i suggest to paint the space behind the tracks first in black or tin bitz.
Then paint the whole tracks in metal colors (prime black or tin bitz,then boltgun metal,add dirt or rust as you please.)
Go for the the other parts from inside out. Start with any recess,grills,gaps in darker color.Use your main color at next.
Finally do as much for shadows or scratches as you feel able to.

well what i did was used an air brush to put my main coat on (bolt gun metal) then after that dried I applyed a coat of the new black wash with my air brush it looks great
