I just heard from my local GW store that my preordered gamer's edition won't be in until Tuesday. They were good enough to call so I didn't drive all that way for nothing tomorrow.

My local store had theirs in already, for the 2 folks who had pre-ordered them (for sale tomorrow obviously). May be limited to just your store.

My friend got his from England on Tuesday.

I thought the GW website preoders are shipped so they arrive 1 to 5 days before release.

I received and email from them saying my gamers edition has shipped yesterday and when I checked fedex it is estimated to arrive on the 15th

Dude, my flgs had gamers edition in stock last tuesday as well. Only 5 of them though.

And they had the regular edition last friday. Weird that GW should stock independents better than their own stores.

Ordered a rulebook and other items from Direct Services and had it sent to the local Hobby Center. I called to see if it had arrived (Friday) and it did. Went to said HC and some tool redshirt started telling me I couldn't get my Direct Services order from them until today because it contaned the 5th Ed. book. I thought it would be nice to save on shipping and have a reason to pop into the shop to see what's going on, but I won't be doing that again. Thanks redshirt for a memorable experience and making me not want to come into your shop. Oh, and I did get my order; I attended Manager trainning back in the day with the manager of that shop.

I got my Gamer's Edition yesterday as well from my FLGS. Sounds like a shipping problem to me.

My FLGS had both Gamers and Collectors yesterday.

I got mine too, I was going to get just the rule book, but I couldn't resist when I saw it there!

Our FLGS didn't even get enough sets of the Gamers Addition to fill all of their preorders. I got mine though!

Picked mine up today

The one i visit had both, but only 1 copy of the Collectors Ed.

While purchasing the rulebook, I stared at the collectors one, to which she said, "I haven't rung this up yet..."

They no longer have a copy of the Collectors Ed...

Was informed that one shipment was going to be late, and tuesday was quoted I do believe. Wouldn't be surprised if this happened at more than just a few stores.
