The new vehicle damage table grants a -1 to the roll for any weapon that is AP -. When a unit of Berzerkers charges a vehicle do they have -1 to the roll because there weapons have no AP value? Would all CC attacks against vehicles be at a -1? Would grenades, which are a weapon and not fists or claws, get a -1 because they have no ap value?

No, because melee weapons do not have an AP value whatsoever. Therefore, its not even AP -, so that stipulation has not been met. Just because something does not have an AP value doesn't mean you automatically assume its AP -, this is an assumption based on no actual rule, so don't infer.

As a note, it says specifically "by a weapon shown as "AP -". No melee weapon to my knowledge actually has this "shown" in its entry, so again, you cannot assume it does.

Moz:
You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?"

Oi!
Lissen up, ya lanky gits! DaBoss 'as spoken!
Iffen yer usin yer shoota, the peersin' strengf matters.
Wiff yer slugga, dere ain't no peersin. It's all whackin' damage!

Translation:

DaBoss has it dead on. Ranged weapons have AP. HtH weapons don't.
In order to be affected by "AP-," you'd have to have an AP value... and it would have to be "-."
