Ok as a long time Bretonnian Player (since before they had a Full List Book) the thing that really bugs me how much they Trim and change with each List and how many of those they keep get downgraded in 7th. now I'm not saying bring back everything since a lot of it doesn't suit the Bretonnian feal of either Golden Age (5th ed) or today (7th ed), but some of what I'm going to suggest may actualy sell "Men at Arms" and "Bretonnian Battalion" sets (none of the Stores I go to have bean able to move much in the way of either Item since about a few months after they came out) since no one wants to be tied to actualy having to Paint & run an army containing Men at Arms so their not wasting the Modles they got in their Starter Army or where silly enough to pay A$50 for.

I give you a Bretonnian List Expansion

Well, while I think that the rules for the new units are well written, it just seems like these were created to give the brets a beefy infantry unit. I can respect that, but really there would be better ways to expand the list really. First of all, I dont know if there is anything wrong with the men at arms and archer units. They reflect their background nicely, cheap, and not exactly superskilled cannon fodder. The archers do well enough, and they dont need beefing up because they're human. If a strong infantry was needed how about dismounted knights or whatnot? Otherwise, as far as gaming goes, this seems fine to me. lol, sorry I'm a bit of a freak for the fluff if you havent guessed already.

Don't know if the knights should be considered a troops choice, not at WS 4. Knights genereally don't go without a mount so they should be a special or something. I imagine it being like an elite garriosn guard or something like that. Either that or drop a WS and make them mountless Knights Errant. If I remember they're like 19 points mounted, so make them 11 or 12 points unmounted.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Foot Knights should be 0-1 if core, and able to take a Banner worth 50 pts with its normal bearer... or not, since they're Brettonian and get enough resolution bonuses as it is. Brings it in line with how other lists are are designed, IMO. Why would being led by a Paladin let the UNIT carry a magic banner?
You need a Paladin with a banner anyway. A BSB would actually be useful among the foot ranks of Bretonia for the re-rolled break tests... but your honour comes before your advantage, young errant.

An example of something that needs to change in the Bret book is the Sacrament of the Lady... now that it does nothing. Used to be gnarly.
