Only one S8, AP2 shot at 48". Mounted on a open-topped skimmer. Farseer has a weak S3 large blast psychic power that has no AP. War Walkers dish out 12 S6, AP5 shots at 24", but only have a BS of 3. Dire Avengers foot slog with a 4+ save, and only have a range of 18" even though they have assault 2 weapons.

How utterly terrible is this?

Some of you are forgetting that quantity has it's own quality... (almost 100 guardsmen is still formiddable, although they can't take out tanks...)

I would say the worst is probably tyranids with upgraded spinegaunts. (everything but scuttlers and toxin sacs)They have low numbers (32) due to upgrades and warriors are warriors (5 warriors with 2 scytals and a few assorted upgrades). You now have an expensive but can't really do anything squad...

fits the bill of worst army...

Alternatively take a kroot list with a basic shaper and normal kroot till you are out of points. They have no armour and not the numbers to compete with the orks. They will die in droves when deployed outside of woods...

mabey throw in chem inhalers, carapace armor, and the one for a 6+ invul save. oooo and cant forget sharp shotter to rerole that all important las pistoll shot

Worst army ever? I'll bite:

Dark Eldar Wych Archite with as much drek wargear as you can cram on her skanky ass - items that jump to mind are nightmare doll, terrorfex, a mask, grenade options - webway portal (cuz she's got to stand still to use it - and with only T3, that's a deadly proposition).

Fill rest of points with Wyches as troops, on foot, upgraded succubus with some drek wargear like trophy rack, arcane wargear, a mask, full grenade options, NO WYCH WEAPONS, NO SPECIAL WEAPONS

Basically, you have EXPENSIVE HTH somewhat fast foot troops (inexplicably not buying their Wych weapon upgrades...!) at T3, 6+ with 12" S3 pistol shooting. HOORAY. I forgot that they get their "random drug upgrade", but any kind of shooting from the other "weak army entries" will shred their bikini-clad bodies.

It's a take on the old classic loser list, demons that never make the table

Caveat: Swap 2 demons for 2 IoCU and 1 personal icon and you get a 498 pointer that's functional but still pretty crappy

slight problem there: daemons cost 13 points each. it's virtually the same thing i was thinking of... but yeah, this list is probably hands down the worst.

See what I'm trying to achieve here is not only an army that is total useless but one that is also amusing in HOW it is hopeless, and which also pretends to have some kind of balance or and appearance of having special functioning units! I wasted as many points on cyborg bodies as possible, and was sure to add the unit that can kill itself without help from enemies. There is even a tank with wargear that it can use in the most hopeless way possible like having grethcin in the looted wagon trying to board and assault a landraider! hahahahaaaa!

The crazy thing about this idea is that I was sure that i hade made the worst and weakest army of them all, but maybe not! The problem with my list is that mad dok Grotsnik himself has a power claw! Damn! Even if I played too lose, there is some kind of chance I would WIN if I was fighting the other crap lists, like the mandrakes!

Commander has a BS6 T/L Flamer, can reroll night fight (for his good ole 8" long template), shoot away from the squad (what squad?) he's attached to, still rallies if under 50% starting str and an fire can fire 2 weapons (his flamer and... oh, wait!).

His soldiers can blow up tanks up close (up close!?!), have shas'uis (with twin EMP grenades) fire both thier marker light AND their pulse carbine at a different squad (wow! 3 pulse carbine shots!), and reroll night fighting (with 18" range weapons).


I second Orc Town Grotin in that is one of the funniest threads I have seen, possibly beating the one about injuries from assembling models.

I expected more Tyranid Warriors in this thread. Then again, I actually play them in competitive lists. Maybe that means I win here...

I think there have been plenty of White Dwarf army lists that could be on here.

My favorite one was the decked out Captain with Shotgun toting Scouts.
