Lormax and I am going. Come on Dakka people, it's only 1750 points.

I haven't enjoyed Gamesdays all that much. I also really don't like the tournaments at GDs because there's just too much noise and not enough time.

So in short, I was thinking of skipping it this year, although who knows?

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I was going to go, but it is too much hassle because even if you win the RTT, it is for only 200 curcuit points.

Really, that's the reason you're not going? I had no idea you had such an obsession with circuit points.

Do you get some sort of prize for having a bunch of circuit points or something?

Yup.

Gamesday is not worth the hassle of trying to get the days off, driving for 6 hours, and paying $30. I have been to many Gamesdays, and they do not hold any surprizes for me.

I only went last year only because of the curcuit points (and you almost can't do anything else at gamesday when you play at the RTT).

Since the curcuit points are not that many, I will pass.

And if you think that I am the only one who cares about curcuit points, what about all of the guys that flew out to Gamesday LA last year just for the points?

I have the next week after Gamesday LA off and I am headed to LA to play in Stratigicon's RTT and play in some pick up games before heading out to the LVGT.

Edit: I will say that 2 of the best games I played last year was at Gameday LA against Greg Sparks (Inquisitor Malice), and Sasafrazz(sp).

And I would go to Gamesday LA if I stilled lived in LA.

I'll be flying out for Games Day and the Tournament. It'll be the first time I get to take my Black Widows to a tournament.

My work schedule wouldn't allow me to go to the LVGT, so I figure this is the next best thing.

Like Scuddman said, I'll be at the LA Games Day and most likely the Strategicon RTT as well. The Strategicon is literally 5 minutes from my house so I SHOULD be there.

Those of you that are going, wanna try to setup a meet & greet?

Edited as earlier post may sound hostile and is not the intent.

Lets, keep this on track concerning the LA Games Day, and not on merits of the circuit system please.

Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. I'll be flying in the day before, so maybe we could find a place to meet up the night before.

I'll be going, but I won't be playing in the Tourney. Mostly wandering the floor and shopping FW stuff. I'd be in for a meet and greet.

There's a few of us hitting up the Ontario GW store on the Friday before Games Day. I don't know the time frame for the tourney but if people come find me during it (I'll be playing in it), I'll be happy to get something setup for after.

I'll be playing the probably brightest red Blood Angels there, name is Travis, say hi

I didn't go, but alot of my club did. They really cleaned up in the WFB RTT. So Cal GW League won best sport, best general and best overall. A pretty good day for us.

Not taking a cheap shot, I'm just curious--what was the ratio of your club members to total overall numbers of said RTT?

4 of 24? 8 of 30? 12 of 20?

Well my first 2 games in the 40k RTT were against So Cal GW League members and I'm sure I saw many more shirts there as well. Seemed to me like there was a good representation.

For those wondering, Dual lash chaos took best overall. Horde orks won best general.

Chad Paige took Best General (Orks)

Andrew Rei took Best Overall (Chaos)

I don't remember who took 2nd overall

Aaron Yeager (Our very own Doctor Thunder) took 3rd overall (playing Drop Pod wolves)

Thanks, the game with Charlie was a good one. Dana was the other player from SC GWL that I played in the first round.
