Ring? Pre-grats. If you have the 6th ed marine codex that should be good for awhile still. My IG vehicles are kind shelved as well, kind of in the same situation with not wanting to buy the new book. At least not right away.

Honestly I may just paint enforcers to go with my 40k tanks while I wait to see how 7th pans out. If it's a bust... I'll still have useful enforcers for Warpath and the marine tanks can get rust/weathered and turned into terrain.

I'm throwing a few new pictures on my blog tonight, but I'm probably going to be too lazy to paint any more.

Going to take some pictures of some Bolt Action that I hope to trade. Then, if time permits, I will paint up some more BFG. I need to focus on my other hobby most of the day. Doing some brakes, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, and rotors on my spare car.

Yesterday I bought some paint. I was out of black paint... as in I had absolutely none. Zero.... zip... nadda.

I also thought about picking up a box of Sanguinary guard because I've seen some really astounding conversions that use some of the bits from the kit and it has inspired me to possibly do some things for some of my armies. I opted to hold off, for now at least, and wait to see how 7th edition will actually affect my various forces.

Bought a Khador Doom Reaver army NIB for $70 (Butcher, 3 squads, Fenris). Missing the guys who control the berserkers, they were out of stock. Couple extra mats for Deadzone and got my hands on a few Deadzone battle terrain sprues before they're even out. Had a damn good Friday.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Hehe. I also got a copy of sedition wars for $15 to make for more rebel troops for Deadzone. Where is your lightning now, Grimmy?!

Rebasing and touching up some old metal WHFB Orc war machine models to be used in KoW. Just need to let the ink dry, varnish and add some static flock and 11 of them will be done.

Then back to try and slog through 2 Men of Gondor with Swords to finish a unit (for KoW). Yeah, 2 crappy plastics are bottlenecking me. I wish they didn't suck so badly.

Then 5 more Men of Gondor with Spears...

Picking all the metal threads off my old school metal Incubi. Then filing the mold lines. Then all that other happy horsecrap that goes along with metal figs.

Holy crap and I thought $40 was cheap for that! Man I should look for work over there if the model scene is so delightful

Will pass a game store tomorrow but I doubt I'll bother stopping by. Not sure they've even heard of mantic and when my wife popped by to inquire about infinity for me, they though she was talking about that Disney thing =/ I've wandered there for half an hour or better begging the shelves to coerce me into buying something but Nada, zero interest. Go an hour in the other direction and you can get a few mantic things but I don't know that anyone plays them there.

/despondent defeatism

Hobby lobby should be a different story and I've got two dioramas that need structure and scenery knocked out.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with that terrain, any hope of a helicarrier ?

It's only 4 sprues and connectors, not enough to do a lot with, but it can add on to what I have already: fortify some stuff, build the gun emplacement, some walls, stuff like that. And it was a show room kinda thing, halfway across the country. I wasn't home in CT.

Going to try to cannibalize parts from ONE second-hand Lelith Hesperax to complete a DIFFERENT second hand Lelith Hesperax. And now I come to the moment of triage...which model to save? The 3rd edition metal fig, or the 5th edition one?

18 Jetbikes. Not a big fan of the 3 man squads, but I do like 9 strong with 3 Cannons. Can't wait to get to the painting stage with the airbrush.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Gah, rulebook out and I'll be passing a gamestore... should probably resist the temptation to go buy it.

Hopefully today I'll find some supplies at hobby lobby for the base of my infinity samurai/ninja+infinity diorama, and if I'm really lucky, a nice box to use as the main structure for the tardis display box for another Dr Who themed diorama.f

Fingers crossed.
