Drop the plasma off the line squads.

Instead of so many bodies, try adding some long range firepower like mortars.

Looks really good to me. Solid firepower in a static base to cover your own objectives, and plenty of squads that can drop to contest. I can not help by think that you would want more dropping melta's in the list. Sure 8 lascannons is a good number, but with 5th it has lost a lot of shine.

I agree with Foil; the age of the lascannon being a sure-pick is over. I'd recommend dropping some to AutoCannons (or even HB) and adding more drop meltas.

I think it's pretty snazzy. You've got 6 tanks - and an ass ton of dudes. That's gonna be painful for anybody. The problem is, you don't have much in the way of claiming, since your static lascannons are going to want to be shooting. Maybe take the heavy bolter squads, give them GL's or flamers, take off the bolters, and just have them as charge in and die dudes. Other than that, I like it. Mortars are cool, but their not for 'Ard boyz. And Lascannons are still the best thing out there. Especially with the advent of the Land Raider being the best thing since pre-sliced bread. Plus, you've already got 6 autocannons, 3 battle cannons, and 3 inferno cannons, so I think you're good on anti-infantry.

You might want to hold a few of the line squads in reserve for deepstrike and give them a melta instead of a HB. That way, you can drop them in on objectives that your other squads would be too slow to reach.

Other than that, looks like a solid list.

One thing you have to think about is time in Ard Boys. You might have the be all be list but time could easily kill that list. I have seen some major ork builds with a ton of troops. I just hope these guys take into account time.

Next, keep the lascannon and inform all that mathhammer is some other game and is not 40k!

I myself run four and have never had a problem with AV 14 let alone three LR or two liths. Granted if you going to run tanks I would like to see a few chimera in this list. That would really up your count for tanks and blocking LOS and what not.

2x Grenadiers, 2x melta guns

2x chim, smoke, hull-H-Bolter, Multi laser.

This will give you some forward movement which you really need a good chance to cut off some los.

You could also grab some sents instead to add a bit of if in your list. Multi Lasers flanking on AV 10 or 11 is a good thing.

Keep the list if you think it will work and just look at this as ideas to think about.

You never have a problem with AV14?

Mathhammer is indeed a different game, but from my experience (having...four lascannons) I cannot stop AV14 reliably.

3 land raiders show up on my front door and the guys inside go nuts.

You have a spare Doctrine point and open HQ slots - take 2 Special Weapons teams with 2 Meltas & Demo Charge instead of the Veterans. They're small and throwaway, so they don't need to be Veterans.

Plus, why *not* take the Mortar team? Or the ML team. Annoying and fun.

Also, as you've got the points, maybe take DH allies:

More AV14 can't hurt.

I'm finding that lascannons help deal with those freaking Feel No Pain armies. Epididemous armies and Plague Marines have been so annoying lately that I've been using them against squads more than armor.

As for the other stuff: It took the release of Codex: Orks to finally make Mortars relevant. Against everyone else, they still suck.
