Painlord Titan Princeps of Slaanesh

1) Can eldar superheavies get a cover save from terrain AND their holofield save? It's not a cover save, just a 4+ ignore-hit save. Anything suggesting they wouldn't also get cover saves, if in terrain suitably sized to block half of a titan/superheavy tank?
2) How is scoring worked out in Apocalypse? We had some problems in our last game. As such:
Apoc: Any unit within 6" can claim an objective. If enemy units are present, whichever side has the most points claims the objective.
5th Edition: Only troops choices can claim objectives, and anyone can contest, but only from 3" away, yet the presence of any enemies at all prevents anyone from claiming.
Our groups "resolution":
You can claim an objective by having troops within 6" of it, but other units within 6" don't contest - non-scoring units must therefore be within THREE inches in order to contest, and be worth more points than the troops that are within 6 trying to take it.
Seemed like a good compromise at the time, but looking at it, it seems a bit skewed. You can take an objective from 6" if you're troops, but in order to contest you have to be within 3? And you still use the apocalypse out-pointing system to decide who takes it, rather than 5th edition's "if they're present, it's contested, period"?
How is everyone else handling this?

Apoc reload mentions the scoring thing. GW, being GW, don't give a definitive answer. They just say 'Do it as the rulebook says, or how Apoc rulebook says or whatever you want'.
Gee. Real helpful there guys.
Just makes me wonder how far in advance they really plan when a big expansion that went so gaga about is suddenly very different with their new edition of rules.

1. Main Rulebook, page 24. You only ever use one save. The Eldar Titan Holofield is a save, so you have to choose the best between it and whatever cover save you might have. You might also be entitled to a Cover Save, but you have to pick which one to roll.

That's not that big of a deal. APOC is open for house rules anyways. So this is no different. We play it like 5th edition. It makes the games a lot more exciting. The Hold at All Costs asset has been the rage since then.

I believe, that with the lack of force org chart restrictions in APOC, that the APOC scoring units rules should generally be used.
If one is designing an APOC scenario (which you should do btw, you can make things a lot more fun than bring and battles) you should think about which type you should use based on the forces selected.
