The highlights are imo too bright. Try mixing Codex Gray with Chaos Black for a darker Gray and highlight or even drybrush it.

Yeah, that's a lot of contrast. A little more subtlety would do it the world of good

It isn't the color of the highlight that is the problem, but the width.

Try attacking the highlight edges with the side of your brush. Always hold the brush at a tangent to the edge of the tank, and you'll be able to apply a very thin highlight line.

Indeed, but if you use a darker color as highlight its doesnt really look that awkward when you accidently draw a thicker line. (Believe me, sometimes i think i have Parkinsons)

I really like the highlights. Stuart from The Waaagh has a similar style, we call them 'Neon' highlights. I think it really makes that Rhino pop.

The thing that needs a bit more work is the weathering. I think it's great that you thought to do it, but you just need a bit more practice perhaps. One thing to think of, as a vehicle gets muddy the bottom will always be more wet. Therefore you could use a light brown to cover, and gradiate it into a darker brown as you reach the bottom of the vehilce. Battle damage goes a long way as well.

This is a great start for your first vehicle!

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
