Locations for the qualifiers were just posted:

Looks like they screwed up some of states listed though, at least the ones for NY (unless there is a Rochester, NJ). Very possible that there might be other errors.

Fat Ogre in The Woodlands, TX didn't even know they were listed. The owner would have run it if he was given more of a notice; or any notice for that matter.
How come this was such a 'stealth' event? Would've been nice to have more than a months notice. Maybe next time.

I think the 40K ard boy was a last minute decision for GW US. I think they had planned on only doing the WFB one this year, but the response was so good last year they changed their minds. That's my take.

No idea if Hastur's is doing anything or not.
Good thing is Endzone isn't running the semi-finals. Whether the other place doing it will do a good job is beyond me, MG tried to get it but trade sales gave it to the new store. Guess we'll see if the weirdness I experienced at the store translates into a bad semi-finals. Here's hoping the anti-me plan at MG goes forward and everyone brings a ton of Bright Lances! lol

The list is missing two of the three Las Vegas locations.
1. Little Shop of Magic Buffalo and Durango
2. Action sports and Comics Lake Mead and Boulder Highway.
It is a little odd that the only store listed is the one that is chargeing $25 to play and the two that are doing the tournament for free aren't listed. I know at least one store bought the promo pack.
Hopefully GW will get things together with the website in general it should be a resource for gamers not a source of frustration and confusion.

Castle Perilous is in Carbondale Indiana, not Michigan. Also Google Maps gives them a different address than listed on the GW site.
Comix Zone is in Syracuse New York, not Michigan. Address does appear accurate according to Google Maps.
The Compleat Strategist is in New York, not Michigan. Address does appear accurate according to Google Maps.
Those are just the errors for Michigan that I noticed. Are there other stores in Michigan that aren't listed and these were accidently put in place possibly?

GW stores do not participate. The 'Ard Boyz is something Trade Sales does for Independant Retailers?

The manager at the CT is taking sign-ups for the event and says he's confirmed as a location running it (though he's not listed on the site). The website spiel also says that GW hobby centres (do they mean stores?) take part...

No love for us. No love for "The Lou."
None last time, either... The GW store at Mills Mall ran what they THOUGHT was to be one... turned out they were wrong. Ticked off my buddy, too. He was s'posed to go to round 2, based on that tourney.

The policy in place is stores are not supposed to be charging for entrance into the event. However, there may be other items they plan to provide that they could charge for (food, t-shirts, etc). If the Dakka community would like to provide a list of stores that are purported to be charging entrance into the event, I'll make sure it gets passed on to the Trade team to look at.
