Battle for Tarkonia Secondus

AgeofEgos, AshAxe, zulix24 and Pipboy101 all recently participated in an absolutely awesome four player Apocalypse game complete with a beautifully painted Warhound on a mind-blowing table.

Lucky for all of us, they decided to use Dakka's wiki article system to create an equally amazing battle report.

If you love Warhammer 40,000 or battle reports in general you absolutely owe it to yourself to check this amazing battle report out.

You can leave feedback for this battle report either in this thread, or in the official article discussion thread. This battle report took many long hours to create and they'd love to hear what you think about it.

If anyone else is interested in using Dakka's wiki article system to make a battle report but is intimidated by the thought of it, please send myself, AgeofEgos, or any of Dakka's article moderators a PM and we can help give you any pointers you need to create a battle report article of your own.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

That was really awesome. Very epic. Much love for the Gue'vasa Baneblade and the Custodes vs. Phoenix Lord smackdown.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

It was awesome and really reminicent of the old, old dakka battle reports that Russ would post for mega battles at the bricks and mortar dakka store.

Bravo for taking the time and effort to do it.
