As the title says, I need some advice for a color scheme for the celestian squad in my army. Currently, I have basic sisters, seraphim, vehicles, and dominions painted.

Here are the basic sisters, with shadow grey to wolf grey armour, red capes, and gold extras.



The seraphim have the same look:



To make the dominions look differently, they have red armour, shadow grey capes, and gold extras.

Here is the squad of Celestians (minus the heavy flamer and melta that I forgot to include in the picture ) + Canoness awaiting a decision for the painting scheme.



So, any advice for what colors to use? I want the squad to look like it belongs to the rest of the army, but distinct from the regular sisters and the dominions.

First: your gals look great (were you trying for a NMM effect?). Always love seeing a well painted SOB army (though I think you need to shade or paint the eyes...)

Onto color scheme:

Idea 1: Perhaps invert the metallics: Gold armor, SW Gray details, red cloaks? That keeps with your three color scheme and delineates them as clearly 'elite'.

Idea 2: Pick a fourth color completely unrelated (but coordinating) to the other three, i.e. Celestians::Your Sisters Army as Deathwing:ark Angels. Examples: Bone, white, black, etc.

Just to add some completeness, here is one of my partially completed exorcists. As you can see, it uses the same shadow grey has the base color.

Thanks, idea one was one of the approaches I was considering. Idea two really appeals to me, however, but I am uncertain as to which color would work as a complementary + coordinating color. Any suggestions?

I gave you two and a half (2 whites and a black). You could also do a silver or the blue that's on your exorcist...

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood your Deathwing Dark Angels reference. Do you mean use bone, white, and black as the three main colours, or are those three different options for the main armour colour? The blue is a real good suggestion as well.

BTW, the completed models actually do have the eyes shaded and pupil-ized , though the camera angle for the completed ones don't quite show that.
