So, does this count as oldskool? It's the first model I ever painted, actually. I don't think that I really have anything else old lying around the house since most of our stuff "disappeared" at some point.

Definitely not my toenails. Stupid as it seems, I am completely incapable of painting nails.. my five-year-old does a better job of it than I do. I just sit with my knees tucked up when I paint, so I suppose that's why it looks like my toenails ^_^

heres an old Reaper vampire I bought on holiday years ago...ohhh errrr

I like the multi-color blended skink better as well. I actually call him my "rainbow skink". This one just happened to be what I was painting when hubby snapped the picture. Unfortunately I've got boxes of skinks and sauruses sitting unpainted under my desk. Sometimes I can hear them crying because I've deserted them ;-; Maybe they'll get some loving after I finish my VCs and after they revamp the lizzie codex next year.

I'm afraid I have no idea what a "DC" is that she would be wearing. The only thing it calls to mind is "disconnect", as in "I've been DCed from this god damn server 17 times in the last hour."

I'm not sure how a half UK / half US flag would look.. certainly interesting, but also ridiculously bizarre, I think. Keep the UK flag! Go national pride and all of that, or something. In my defense, at least I painted my first model (with the flag) while I was in the army. I also got one tattooed on my hip, so I guess I went a little overboard with the flags (there goes my excuse, eh?).

And Ifurita, I must agree -- love that model. He looks so dusty and angry. Like the green on his knee. C'mon people, more oldskool pics!

and the rainbow skink is the best lizardmen model ive seen yet, might try it, but could come out looking like solid blocks of colour lol.

Ummm ... that's because he is dusty. I pulled him out of the case for scale comparison next to the transporter jammer I was building.

It sounds like you also play on-line games - which ones? And what did you do in the Army. I did my stint a long time ago (89-94)

I'll see if I can take some more pics later. I have some old Skaven jezzails and poisoned wind globes, more chaos marines, and other stuph.

hmm old school? geuss the oldest i have are a bunch of one peice high elves if i can be nothered to paint them. or maybe some one peace plague marines.

I've been on a selling spree. Sold off tons of WHFB and WH40K including old snotling pump wagons, old metal elves, orcs, skaven, some old unpainted chaos renegades, eldar.

Just finished stripping down a set of 50 old metal marines, which I kept, though.

nice one Ifurita, which range are they? what are you planning for them?

i need to start soon, dont need a skaven army as big as i have, so i need to lose about 2k points (just after building it up)
got loads of lizards to sell, some SM, tyranid, ork, orks & gobbos and tomb king lol

ill use that to fund the new tau and ogre armies im starting

I played Everquest forever and ever (and way too much). I played EQ2 for about a year and raided in WoW until I got bored of it. I've got a beta key and preorder in for WAR but I'm honestly not sure if I'll be playing it when it comes out. I'm pretty obsessive so if I'm going to do something I do it ALL THE TIME and I'm pretty sick of playing MMOs for like 12 hours a day. I also, occasionally, play things like Team Fortress 2 when hubby whines at me enough about it.

As to what I did in the Army, I was a 97E (and hubby was a 98G). I was only in from 2000-2003, however. He served from 2001-2006.

Sleazy: I LOVE your hobgoblins with the blue hats ^_^ Do you have anything else painted that goes with them? I love to see it, if so..

more people need to play call of duty 4
much more fun.

I'm actually working on a complete 2nd edition ork army, this being the first model testing out a new way to paint ork skin. So there'll be more coming out the pipe soon.

Here's what in the queue:
