Subject: Orks vs Tyranid /// Pro's and Con's.

long story short, ive sold / selling off my armies and im just going to stick to a single army since its geting costly building up too many armies at once.
ive allays loved an army thats pretty much CC, and i can get that from ork or tyranid.
just need some general pro's and con's.
more tempted with ork since ive never played using them and i like the conversion ideas that are available, plus the new AoBR models are amazing (warboss, nobz and deffkoptas)
not too fussed about shooting, its not needed.
and am i right in thinking is possible to take 2 warbosses in mega armour and then have 2 units of 10 nobz in mega armour as troop choices?
and any units worth a mention that really do stand out in CC?

Well, both are armies with tons of models and if you like converting you will for sure have a great time with both...
I think the biggest diference is the theme... if you like crazy scratchbuilted weapons, cars etc go ork but on the other hand if you prefer pure bio engineered monsters then its bug time...

ive collected tyranid before, and my malanthrope is on ebay at the moment lol, wasnt needed.
was mainly thinking ork since ivenever played em before, and conversions would make a nice change from the tyranid ones.

20 as troops from having 2 warbosses, and however many you want as elites - so up to 50 in total, though this would cost you 2000 points. Unless I've misread, of course

I think with 5e Orks you'll be burning points if you don't take the shooting seriously, their pretty shooty now.

ye, koptaz, bikez, buggyz n anything fast, a few big units of orks on foot to act as a 3rd wave and that should cover it.
i think the ork £50 box and 2 AoBR boxes should be a nice start, slly off the smurfs aswell.
