Trying to decide if i want a dozer blade on it.

****EDIT****

Dozer blade is a go.

The dozer blade is magnetized for eazy removal if I don't need it. ( and storage!!!)

And a rear shot which I neglected before...

different, needs a few edges cleaned up, but looks good.
i would say add the dozer, gives it a more menacing look.

has a very WWII japanese tank design feel.

The crew compartment breaks some of the look for me with the extremely squared off box though. A bit more rectangular would seem like it would work out better.

ditto on the dozer

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Sortof reminds me of the old Epic DKoK stuff.

Those tanks were as square as an english upper class garden party on the queens lawn...

the turret harkens back to the old KV tank class from WWII. Ws that the KV-2 I'm thinking of?
I like it. It's a very good scratchbuild of an IG tank.

I'm pretty sure the tracks and some other bits, like the rear trackguard are from a Tamiya Churchill (WWII British Infantry support tank) kit.

Wheels look like they're from a T-34 or T-55 kit though.

Grizgrin - Yes, you're thinking of the KV-2, tall boxy turret with a fairly short barrelled 152mm gun.

Not sure I like the design (shot trap city), but I appreciate the work and thought that have gone into it. It's nice to see some original modelmaking, espcially for the Guard.

Wildrider is correct on the bits, I actually sawed down the Churchill hull and used it as a base.

I got a Churchill and T35 kits super cheap some years ago, I find the bits useful

I know its not a modern, or real world battlefield physics super effective ( like the fire traps issue ) but the concept of the Ragnarok(cheap easy to build but expendable) fit my Last Chancer/Inquisitorial allied force. So what can ya do eh?

thanks for all the comments!

Definitely drill out flamers, drill out anything that has a solid, liquid or gas supposedly issuing forth from it

Looks ace!! How do you do your welds??

I've gotten a couple PMs about the welds, so I guess I'll just post my method.

Step One.
Get a soldering iron.

Step two.
Apply to the place you want your welds!

Just remember one thing. The iron will stay hot. Don't try to pull plastic off the hot tip... like i did.
