I took photos of many of the 40k armies at the Las Vegas GT, I finished cropping and optimizing them. Cheers to all the great armies there, if the army you are looking for isn't here, sorry I did not get them all. Here they are in no particular Order:

I remember the Iyanden army box at the start of 3rd ed. Something like 20ish Wraithguard, a farseer, some warlocks, a couple of Wraithlords and what not for $200.00. I don't think you can even get the Wraithguard alone for that cost anymore. :(

Hey awesome pics! If you don't mind I would like to link a couple of the images in my battle reports for armies I played.

I loved both the heralds of the laughing gods army and the salamanders.

Nice on the Day Glo.

I apologize for imperfect lighting and view angles on many of these, I was litterally running around in between veiwing times snagging as much content as possible. Also this army:

Was really awesome, shaded, then glazed and weathered, and my poor pic comes out as just a brownish mess. I think the guys name was Brice? and he did a surreal awesome job on these! I gave him my players choice vote!

*EDIT for props to Brice, and spelling.

Thanks a ton for the props. It was photographed at the tourney, so pics should be up on the GW site soon enough. I'm currently working on improving it by adding a few more banners, purity seals, etc.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

The Iyanden and the 1st Company Ultramarine armies are nice. I like it when someone does something different, and it's odd to see an army of Ultras that isn't 2nd Company.

The Iyanden army just looks ace, even if they're not a great army.

And I counted 1 Tau and 1 Dark Eldar. And people still play 'Zilla 'Nids in 5th?

I played 5 carnifexes, is that zilla nids? Is there a reason NOT to play them in 5th?

(The green gribbleez on the lava base are mine BTW.)

Thanks for taking the time to post pics of these armies. I myself enjoying seeing the painted models and what colors people used. The

IG army in the snow but the two rhinos seemed out of place being dark red.

Nid army that was painted really nice well that is from what the pic shows. Lava display and they were painted green.

Most of these armies seem really small for 1750.

Seems that most of the orks went with two loota units backed up with heavy mob units to screen. Is 40k turning into throw lots of dice and call it a game?

Seems that I am going to have my hands full if everything works out for the GT in Chicago.

There weren't. As far as I know I was the only pure khorne there (my army is pictured twice from different angles.) There were, I believe, 2 pure nurgle lists (ananda and goatboy) and then another, maybe 3 or 4 mixed lists.

Slaanesh and Tzeentch were notably absent - I am gonna do slaanesh for next year I think.

I was just wondering whilst many of the lists look competitive (and the painting is fantastic) how many of the so called 'power builds' did people encounter? (you know 2 lash's, 9 oblits and as many plague marines as will fit.)

I'm just kind of interested

You could always attach (upload) these images to your post instead of linking them. That way Dakka will take on the hosting duties and the pics never have to go away.

I've seen pics of the deathwing army elsewhare and know it is beautifully done but on these pics the one that really 'pops' is this one:

Crisp, vibrant and a well rounded army to boot.

Thanks for posting the pics.
